Publisher's summary

Book 6 in the million-copies-sold Black Flagged Series by Wall Street Journal and number-one Amazon best seller Steven Konkoly

Vindicta picks up where Omega ended, pitting General Sanderson's surviving Black Flagged operatives, backed by a motley collection of allies, against a monstrous plot to reshape America in the warped image of a recently elected national populist administration—True America.

With only one shot at stopping conspirators within the administration from permanently altering the future trajectory of the United States for the worse, the Black Flagged crew triggers Vindicta, a daring, multi-pronged operation to put an end to the madness and rot within the True America movement—once and for all.

Terrible Narrator

The story was great as always. I'm sad that series is. over. I'll definitely be reading other works by Konkoly. But as most as other reviewers said, the narration was awful. I pushed my way through it, but if I ever see this guy narrating another book I will not listen.

Great series, except narration of final book

Narration of final book killed the finish. Loved the story line and characters though.

Only one complaint

Only complaint was a different narrator being used made it a little difficult to follow at first especially if you listen to the five previous books first. Otherwise a great ending to the series

Poor narration

Come on. The reader couldn’t even do a New England or Russian accent. Expect better.

Good wrap up of the series, but...

I enjoyed the wrap up of the series, but the new narrator wasn't all that great. He kept pronouncing the word RETICLE as RECK ticle, which drove me nuts. Plus the accents that the characters had from the first book through Omega took a hit with the new narrator as well. Again, the story was good, but a narrator can utterly mess up an great work.

Exciting!

Loved the ending. Too bad they did not use John Farrell to narrate this last book, it was not the same vibe.

A good conclusion

Wow, did the other reviews really over play the change in who performed the book. I was expecting it to be a major issue. It would have been nice to keep tbe same performer for the final book, and it was a slight downgrade. That is it, a slight drop off in narration, but it has negligible impact on the enjoyment of the book. If you are on the fence after seeing the hand wringing over thise change, go ahead and get this final chapter. It is well worth it.

Bad Narrator

The narrator of the first 5 books of the Black Flagged series was really good. The new guy for the 6th book was hard to listen to. He’s very flat, the delivery is not smooth and his character voices were just awful and terribly inconsistent.

Don't change narrators for a finale

My only criticism was the narration. Too many things to list wrong, but in a nutshell, cadence, pronunciation and character voices were all "off". He was no John David Farrell.

Reader was great

Both Vindicta and the box set of books 1-5 were great readings by the orator. Only complaint I had was not finishing the series with the same orator, made it a little rough in the beginning to follow at times after hearing certain voices for certain characters for over 60 hours for the box set.
