I don’t want to spoil anything, so I will just suggest to add this one to your reading list. The book is set in England, so the accents of the narrator added to the story. This has been one of the best books I have read!!!!

How can that be possible that a narrator spoils it all. I liked the story though.

Narration prevented completion
I just couldn’t get through the narration. I had to stop after chapter four. The female read fast and without pause or punctuation. The male talked fast and with a mouth full of marbles. If the story was any good I couldn’t tell. Sorry I just couldn’t

Was not expecting that ending!
Totally loved this listen and would suggest it to anyone who likes these types of books. I was totally thrown off and not expecting that ending.

Narration
The male narrator spoke way too fast which made it hard to concentrate on the actual story. I enjoyed every other aspect of the book.

I really enjoyed this!
I enjoyed the story very much. the female narrator was fantastic. and I feel like I've listened to her before but can't place her. as for the male narrator - he wasn't awful but.... some one please tell him to SLOW DOWN. this isn't a race!

Not His Best but Still Entertaining
I appreciated that this time around Hurst tried to add a little bit of horror elements but his genre is mostly domestic thrillers and he couldn’t help adding an affair trope storyline, which was so unnecessary. I wanted more of that mystery, creepy vibe. The ending was a dud. But the epilogue gave the book a little boost in my rating.
The male narrator was so annoyingly bad.

Unexpected ending
I usually love this authors books and this one didn’t disappoint. It has a great storyline along with great narrating with a very unexpected ending that is shocking.
