Publisher's summary

Where I Am is a standalone new adult romance.

Astoria

He was the man of my dreams, or so I thought. I wasn't sure how I'd react when I saw him again. I planned on avoiding him, but our small hometown made that impossible. The years apart melted away when I saw him. Time hadn't changed my feelings, after all. Jealousy flared anew. My heart, which I thought had healed, was back to being in a million pieces.

Now I'm right where I don't want to be - in front of him with tears in my eyes.

Parker

Everything isn't always as it seems. One moment could cause a ripple effect with unexpected consequences that last for years. Not a day had gone by that I didn't think of her. When our paths crossed again, I knew I had to tell her the truth. Arguing was inevitable, but I'd rather fight for her than face another day without her. My heart always belonged to her.

Where I am is standing in front of her - asking for another chance.

Second chance at love

Astoria is young, naive and madly in love with Parker he is her forever. Till the day she walks into his apartment and her world is shattered, and instead of getting an explanation for what she witnessed she runs. Four years at college go by with no communication, she refuses to answer his calls. When she finally returns home and the ugly truth is revealed she has to except the fact that she was wrong and Parker is innocent, and was being humane. How do you put four years behind you and face the man you still love and make it all go away, and still achieve your dreams and get your HEA. I also wonder how many of us could be as stellar and forthcoming as Parker, does a man like him truly exist.

This story is a roller coaster for your emotions, with some drama and intrigue thrown into the story.

Thank you Tor Thom, Charley Ongel and Michele Dare for gifting me this audible book in return my fair and honest review.

A dangerously sexy romance

Romantic, sexy, sizzling, suspenseful and dangerous are all words that describe this story. There is something for everyone. Where I Am is a page turner that you won't put down.

Astoria and Parker have a rollercoaster romance. Astoria believes she is done with Parker, but her beliefs are soon shattered. Their romance is not a typical one, but it is sizzling hot!

Blaire has had an abusive past. The man who harmed her is a dangerous man, who can never be trusted. He is obsessed with Blaire and will stop at nothing to have her.

Sly and Eve are friends of Astoria and Parker. Their stable relationship is what Astoria and Parker both desire.

So many characters, so many twists, so much gut wrenching suspense makes Where I Am a must read.

Tor Thom and Charley Ongel are amazing. The chemistry between them enhances the characters and their emotions towards each other. Tor Thom's baritone voice is amazing to listen to. His distinction between each character truly brings out the different personalities. Charley Ongel can easily shift from one female character to the next and change her pitch just as fast. Ms. Ongel narrates the female characters personalities just as I would have imagined them. The narration of Where I Am by this duet enhances the experience of the story and created a movie in your mind.

An emotional listen!

Where I Am is an emotional, gripping, suspenseful story set in the same world as Where I End. This book takes place after Where I End and could be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading both books. Michelle Dare once again delivers a heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one with Parker and Astoria's story. And we learn that not everything is as it seems from the outside. Tor Thom and Charley Ongel bring these characters to life during their narration. Well done to both the narrators and the author.

LISTEN — Time Passes By — Don’t Waste It

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

This is one of those stories where you want to slap a character. There’s a misunderstanding and instead of talking it through, Tora shuts her emotional door and leaves for four straight years. Parker is frustrated and heartbroken but he knows his actions were right. He has no way of contacting Tora to explain. Both thought they were soulmates and both felt betrayed. Tora reluctantly returns home from college and the second chance opportunity plays out.

Tor Thom and Charley Angel perform an excellent Dual Narration. Fabulous story told by outstanding narrators!

Love Angst and a little bit of Action!

This was my first book by this author and with these narrators. It took me awhile to get into the story. The beginning part of why they originally broke up and then them getting back together was a little bit juvenile for me. Seriously people should talk face-to-face none of this  childish I'm just going to ignore every phone call and assume what I saw was correct. Even if what you saw was correct thing to do would be to face somebody and tell them off if you think they're cheating . And I think maybe if I had read the previous story about Eve and Cy maybe I would've enjoyed that part more if I had been introduced to maybe  previously  to Parker and Astoria (not sure if we were in fact introduced to them previously). Once we get past the relationship drama it focuses on the heartbreaking and lost of Blair and her story. I felt the majority of the last part of the book was all about Blair and it was really interesting. This is when the meaty part of the story for me happened. There was action and danger and excitement. But I felt like Parker and Astoria fell to the wayside and Blair's story stole the show. So hopefully there's another book in this series coming out about Blair and maybe Finn ( a nice guy who seems like he's been getting the rough end of the relationship stick).

Just for the narration alone, this is a must listen audiobook. I couldn't stop listening because the dual narration was entrancing and the story totally engaging. Everything you want from a good suspenseful romance.

Drama, drama, and more drama!

If you thought the first book was drama filled, you will be in for drama overload when you read this book. This book was very enjoyable and I devoured it in one sitting.

The narration was amazing! I love duets by Tor and Charlie. They always do an amazing job!

Parker 🙌🏻💜🎧

Loved every minute of Parker and Tor’s story! Tor Thom and Charley Ongel were perfect. My only hope now is that we get Finn’s story and also Blaire ‘s story!

Astoria and Parker

Where I Am by Michelle Dare
This second chance romance is the first book I have read by Michelle Dare, but definitely won’t be the last. This book flowed and I was hooked from beginning to end. This book was full of suspense and heartache along with some great steamy love scenes. The Narrators, Tor Thom and Charley Ongel really make this story pop. I highly recommend and look forward to read/listen to more from this author.
