Loved it

Classic dungeon adventure. Enjoyed the odd ball group and how they made it all work. Was entertained from beginning to end

The Punisher and Tinker Bell do a dungeon crawl!

If you like D&D, this book is a must read. Clearly, the writer knows the game and loves the game!

DND fun

I really liked the characters and the story here, and the narrator did a great job too.

Excellent

A top tier fantasy adventure that leaves you wanting more. Too bad there is only one more book to continue the story.

Just a Fun Time

This is no literary masterpiece. What it is, however, is an absolute enjoyable experience of a D&D game made into a novel. It has action, adventure, and will make you chuckle. It doesn’t take itself too seriously, but tells a helluva tale along the way.

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL...My apologies Mr. Clark

I mistated the narrators name.
Bernard S. Clark is UNRIVALED as a narrator and could not let it go uncorrected. ALL of his reads are great. Try listening to Bernard Clarks read of the (Book Of Snark).. bring an oxygen tank for the laughter.

Great audio book.

I am really glad I heard this book. It was silly and fun, great performance. I would have never got through this book if I was reading but Bernard Setaro Clark made it fun, made it good.

Fun fantasy.

Brings back memories of playing D&D. You'll enjoy it if you ever played a role playing game.

THIS is where it all starts

I have had so much fun listening to Paul Kidd's books in this series, and have listened to them many times each. The lead characters have become some of my favorites. Our narrator is Bernard Setaro Clark and he does a great job. Good character development, which continues in 2 more books after this one!
As I have said in the reviews of the other books, if you're an old school D&D gamer.... you'll have a lot of fun with this.
