Echo of Silence: In a deep-sea station, Tazia Nerif has found her life's work as an engineer, keeping things running smoothly. But she wants nothing more than to break down the barrier of silence between her and her telekinetic Psy station commander.

Dorian: A changeling who can never shift lives a life of quiet frustration - until he learns how to let his leopard come out and play.

Partners in Persuasion: Still raw from being burned by a dominant female, wolf changeling Felix will never again risk being a plaything. But for dominant leopard Dezi, he's the most fascinating man she's ever met. She just has to convince this gun-shy wolf that he can trust the dangerous cat who wants to take a slow, sexy bite out of him.

Flirtation of Fate: Seven years ago, Kenji broke Garnet's heart. Now the wolf packmates have to investigate the shocking murder of one of their own. And the more Kenji sees of the woman Garnet has become, the deeper he begins to fall once more.

sigh

exactly what I needed ❤ I love this series and reading/listening to all of the pack mates find their way to each other.
I love the dynamics of trying to figure out how to work out a mating between a dominant and submissive- and being from different packs- although the way for the packs mating to each other was paved before- its still new enough to have to work some kinks out.
I love the psy mating- as well- breaking out of the shell for silence and being drawn into a loving relationship ❤ even if it has to stay hidden- their love is strong and the story brought in some cultural differences that made it more realistic and relatable ❤
Kenji and Gem had issues and of course K being the fathead man he was didn't think he should share either Gem why he stopped acting like he cared. Glad she could forgive him and that he stopped being so stubborn.

Four Great Novellas

These four novellas worth the credit. While these novellas weren't mandatory to the series they were great additions. They were Pure Psy drama free. There was plenty of changling love and drama.
I enjoyed these novellas.

Icing on the Psy-Changeling cake

Yes, I really enjoy these individual novellas and the whole darn Psy/Changeling series!

In this compilation:
Chapters 1-12: Intro, Echo of Silence
This story takes place after both Sascha and Faith have mated with their Changelings, but before Silence has fallen. It features Stefan, a Psy Telekinetic, who is mentioned by both Judd and Vasic as having previously mated and they went to him for advice. Stefan is Captain of the Alaris deep sea station and must keep secret his attraction for Tazia Nerif.

Chapters 13-17: Dorian
Dorian at 6, 14, and after he changed into a leopard.

Chapters 18-26: Partners in Persuasion
Set in the period after Kiss of Snow when Felix Grady, SnowDancer, is planting trees, and Desiree, DarkRiver Leopard Senior Soldier is acting as security.

Chapters 27-40: Flirtation of Fate
Kenji Tanaka and Garnet Sheridan, SnowDancer Lieutenants, have been dancing around each other for years. When he assists her in an investigation, Garnet can finally see beneath Kenji’s facade to realize there was more to his walking away years ago.

I appreciate Singh’s creativity and the quality of her writing, in both characters and world building, that I'm also following her Archangel & Rock Kiss series.
I'm so glad she was able to give us Kenji & Garnet's story. They so needed to be together. I really hope Alexei comes to Nalini with his story soon;-))
I’d also love at least a novella about Mercy and Riley’s pupcubs. Please?
Dawe does a decent job of narration.

Great Psy/changling anthology :D

Overall: 4.5-5 stars

This was a great anthology that I'd recommend for any fan of the series. :)

Echo of Silence
Time: 0:00-2:43
4.5-5 stars

This was a really interesting story with 2 characters I really liked (but are completely separate from the characters we normally see in the series), Tazia (human) and Stefan (psy). I really liked seeing them get together and it ended in a HEA but they do have to hide their relationship because silence is still the rule. I do hope that we get to see more of them later to see how they managed and how things change once silence isn't an issue. :D

Dorian
Time: 2:43-3:36
4.5-5 stars

This is a really cool short that goes over Dorian and his latency issues. It has a few scenes from when he was a kid and had to deal with not being able to shift and then a number of scenes from after Dorian is able to shift and how he and the other pack members handled it. :D

Partners in Persuasion
Time: 3:36-6:32
4-4.5 stars

This was a really good story about a budding romance between Dezi and Felix. Dezi is a dominant leopard changling and Felix is a submissive wolf changling. There's a strong attraction between them but a relationship between a female dominant and male submissive is really hard to make work. Regardless of the issues, they can't let it go so they keep at it and make it work, ending the story with a HEA.

Flirtation of Fate
Time: 6:32-11:06
4-4.5 stars

This was a really enjoyable story. I liked both Kenji & Garnet and was glad they finally got together. While I understand Kenji's reasoning for what happened 7 years ago, that doesn't make it right. I'm glad that Garnet finally realized that something wasn't right and sought answers, forcing the issue and bringing things out in the open. Thankfully, things get worked out and Garnet and Kenji end the story starting their HEA. :)

Fun little short from the Psy-Changeling world.

1. Echo of Silence: Tazia and Stefan, a sweet love story of two people who are lost and find what they needed in each other. Read by itself, it can stand on its own. 2 hrs 43 mins.

2. Dorian: Part of the story is when Dorian was a cub, and the hardship he endured because he couldn’t shift. Another part was when he was 14. Lastly when Dorian was with Ashaya, so I recommend reading after Hostage of Pleasure. 53 mins.

3. Partners in Persuasion: Felix and Desirae. Can a dominate and a submissive find love. Yes, yes they can. Read after Kiss of Snow. 2 hrs 55 mins.

4. Flirtation of Fate: A little murder mystery mixed with a lot of untold secrets are finally revealed in this story. Read after Kiss of Snow. 4 hrs and 35 mins.

Great Collection

From start of the stories to the end, I didn't want to put it down/stop reading.

Echo of Silence I think is just long enough that it works as a perfect novella that introduces you to characters that you can easily fall in love with.

Dorian works because by the time you've read this you've likely read enough books to know who Dorian is, his journey, and how he's overcome.

Partners in Persuasion and Flirtation of Fate are almost great. The problem with these two books is that you've somewhat met the characters involved but you don't know them well enough for you not be given the same kind of backstory/longish formula that Echo of Silence gave you. Instead, you get kind of a insta love story with barely anything to overcome in Partners and then insta-forgiveness in Flirtation that could be reasonable given the time frame, but by the same default could also be unreasonable if someone has held onto a grude for that long.

A smorgasbord of goodness

Fabulous mix of diverse stories of various lengths.

Echo of Silence - 5⭐️fantastic pairing of Psy and Human with fascinating delve into cultural values, customs, and traditions.

Dorian - 3⭐️ not really a romance. Cute short about Dorian familiarizing himself with his leopard.

Partners in Persuasion- 4⭐️ a reversal of roles with a female dominant and a male sub. I like that this really concentrated on the romance.

Flirtation of Fate - 4⭐️ the murder mystery didn't do it for me but I really loved the celebration of Kenji’s Japanese heritage.
