Publisher's summary

Do you remember your mother telling you when you were little that you’d never meet Mr. Right if you were spending all your time and energy with Mr. Wrong? And what about the book out a few years ago that created such a hoopla with the single crowd – He’s Just Not That Into You? The two main characters in Winter Interlude either didn’t heed their mother’s advice or haven’t read the book.

Now, add into the plot that the two in question are enemies who regularly run into each other, given their current relationships. Paul Morrison, a hunky, blond, financial planner, has been putting time and energy into winning the heart of Kate Winter’s best friend for almost as long as Kate, a strong willed antiques dealer, has been dating James Morrison, Paul’s brother. The sparks start to fly when the two get stuck together for a three-hour drive to the mountains and years of misconceptions about each other are slowly being wiped out.

It is in the confines of the BMW that the two begin their journey, taking them from being mortal enemies to lovers. Winter Interlude tells the story of their adventure – of how they finally find love. Kate and Paul’s story is the first one in a series of four friends caught in a time warp. They can’t move on because they are stuck on their idea of their perfect dreams. But sometimes life works in mysterious ways and they are all forced by circumstances to change.

pretty good

the book was well-written the story was very interesting The love story itself was brought from a difficult situation from a woman who wants to to get married and when she does she discovers a lot of things about her partner and from one little incident she develops a very interesting relationship the story may seem like a cliche but it wasn't maybe it was but it worked very well and I loved the story quite much so 5 stars for this one definitely

Nice Story

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, via Audiobook Boom, and have voluntarily left this review."

This story reminded me of several others I have listened to over time. It was a love story with several complications that added to the story, I didn't not like it but it was such a reminder of other stories. The HEA was nice and the narrator did a good job.

Sandy has done it again!

I have read and listened to many of Sandy’s books and she never disappoints! Her characters are real- interesting and fully fleshed out. Her story lines are always compelling. When you download Sandy’s books you are guaranteed a great read. If you like her Romantic Fiction you will love her Romantic Suspense- like The Sin Factor series. Cannot wait to see what’s next!

Winter Interlude Will Warm Your Heart – Lovely

This charming tale centers around 2 couples who are in very different places in their relationships, lives, etc.

James and Kate have been dating for years. Kate is ready to move things to the next level but James seems to be comfortable with their relationship as it is.

James' brother, Paul, has been trying to coerce Kate's best friend into dating him for as long as the 4 can remember. She puts up with him but has no interest in him in the romantic sense.

A ski weekend with the 2 couples starts off with Kate and Paul stuck in a cabin together because of weather delaying the others. Kate and Paul fight and bicker like brother and sister. The 2 cannot stand each other, or can they?

Sandy Lloyd has written a really captivating and fun romance. I look forward to the rest of the series!

Carol Dines is a perfect narrator for this book. She knows how to present the story in the most believable way. Wonderful!

Credit worthy? Absolutely! The book rides the line of spicy or risqué. I think it's a perfect combination.
