I thought I couldn't take any more, but when a murder rocks my small community, I wind up entangled in the investigation thanks to a handsome stranger.

Needs editing
The story is pleasant, the characters are cute, but the author should have her work edited. Phrases like “found a parking lot in the small lot” and “it was heavy, even ponderous” are frequent and irritating, and so easy to avoid by using a good editor! I will never understand how a publisher will pay all this money to a voice talent before having the novel edited properly. Not that I’m offering my services (wink wink), but I would enjoy helping make these cute novels even more enjoyable.
