About this listen

A romantic-comedy adventure

Fletcher is the “World’s Worst Boyfriend”, and I have the trophy to prove it - along with the consolation gift card I’ve already spent.

Entering him into the anonymous contest was cathartic and eye-opening. It’s obvious I need to end this farce of a relationship...so, I do.

Too bad I’m still comparing every man I meet to Fletcher.

Too bad I can’t get him out of my mind - or my house, for that matter - with the way he’s always stopping by to "fix" something.

And it’s especially too bad that I’m learning not everything is as it seems and that maybe, just maybe, Fletcher had a good reason for his actions. (Although, there is no justification for the moldy laundry.)

What’s a girl to do? He says he’ll explain everything soon. But am I ready to face that explanation? What if he’s really not the worst - what if I am?

A romantic-comedy adventure to make you laugh out loud!

What a fantastic story!💜

Well written and clever storyline. I loved this story so much, from the worlds worst boyfriend to the snarky glam-ma and all the other amazing characters. This story was fun and entertaining. The narration was absolutely wonderful. Both Amanda Stribling & Blake Lockheart really portrayed these characters perfectly. I felt that their voices were not only a good fit for their characters but also fit well together in this duel narration.
Well done everyone!!
This is book 3 with an HEA and can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book.

World's Worst Boyfriend

Narrator: Amanda Stribling & Blake Lockheart

My Reading Speed: 1.5x

Have I Read The Book Before Listening to the Audio? No

Overall Audio Impression:

Though the narrators only do the full chapters voiced by their assigned character (not all of the male/female parts throughout the story), I really enjoyed this story! It took me a moment to get into it at first (I had to hear from both characters before realizing what was going on) but once I was in, I was hooked! I loved getting to know Saidy & Fletcher and what they had going on that made their lives interesting to listen to. I loved the oddness of their situation and that Saidy would stick her foot into situations she was completely unaware of until later on in the story. I loved that Fletcher wanted to get back together with Saidy despite the debacle they were facing until his assignment was finished and did everything he could to get back into her good graces despite her not knowing what was the main issue with their relationship’s rift.

Favorite Scenes:

their first meeting

Fletcher’s inability to balance his two lives showing to the reader (romantic vs. work)

Fletcher trying to steer Saidy clear of any danger without telling her why

the ending

Reader’s Notes:

there are some curse words used closer to the end (most being the ‘a’ word for donkey but used to refer to a person’s butt)

Secret identity Romcom

I loved Saidy and Fletcher! He’s undercover and can’t tell her, she is listening to the wrong people when it comes to their relationship. I love their chemistry and there are so many lol moments. I loved seeing both of them grow, especially when Saidy decided she had cut the wrong relationship out of her life. If you have a chance, listen to this audio book, it is so good!

Same old Same old.

This book was grossly pathetic. The guy isn't fully putting everything into the relationship for months and actually expects her to put up with that until he's ready, she decides she doesn't want to keep living her life as 10th best and decides to break up with him and the author is pretty much making it seem like she's wrong for doing so. It's ridiculous. They want us to be sympathetic towards the guy but I just can't bring myself to do so. I get sick and tired of reading books like this and the fact that is usually a woman who's writing these books low key disgusts me.

why make women seem so weak?

Seriously? A cop who acts like a stalker is supposed to be likeable? I don't care about good intentions when the relationship is based on lies and controlling issues. And a woman who doesn't respect herself enough to find and spend more time with good friends instead of friends who treat her badly? I couldn't continue to listen long enough to find either main character likeable.
