Publisher's summary

Whenever I tell people I can help them write a book in four weeks, I always get a look of confusion and dismay. "That can't be done! Books take years and years of methodical research and time consuming edits!" Well the fact is, yes it can be done. We now live in an age of instant gratification and the old ways of writing a book on a typewriter have long passed. I have helped many authors write and publish their stories in just a few short weeks. The process is truly amazing.

The first part is getting over that mental hurdle in your mind that you must work on a novel for 10 plus years. I think that's a big hurdle for people to overcome. Once you have opened your mind to the process and changed your attitude toward writing and publishing, you will embrace the wonderful new age of quick results. The methods that I am sharing with you in this guide book are the same principals I give workshops on and teach my authors. Once you take the great feat of writing a book and breaking it down into small, simple steps, anything is possible.

When people set forth to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, they do not do it in one big leap, but by putting one foot in front of the other. Most people think writing a book is a huge mountain to overcome, yet they are looking at the top from the bottom. They don't see the small, little steps in front of them that they must begin with. I have broken down the complex writing process into an easy-to-follow streamlined process for anyone to write a book in four weeks. It just takes discipline to stay on track. You can't hike halfway up the mountain and then decide it's too much work. Just consistently take the small steps each day, and soon, you will be on your way to becoming a published author!

Thanks to Adam Klingman for recording and editing audio files.

Encouraging and Practical

Where does Write a Book in 4 Weeks, Volume 3 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book is for sure one of the most encouraging, practical and easy-going book I have ever read on the topic "how to write a book" and for this reason it top ranking.

For sure it is not a novel or a book for entertainment so if you are looking for a Romance, well that's not on that ranking. ;-)

What did you like best about this story?

The style.
It sound like a friendly conversation. Try to imagine your friend and you sitting on a couch drinking a Martini and you ask him "how may I write a book?" .
Very relaxing and professional. Believe me, many professional books lack of this style.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Relax, writing a book is easier than you think" or "take it easy and write when you have the inspiration"

Any additional comments?

At the end of each chapter Tara Richter makes a brief summary of the main points explained in the chapter.

An altogether good guide on how to write a book

Would you consider the audio edition of Write a Book in 4 Weeks, Volume 3 to be better than the print version?

I enjoyed many things about this book. To start with, I had already thought about writing a book, but wasn't sure if I could do it and how much time it would consume, but now, when I have heard Tara's Richer's thoughts and suggestions, I am sure that I will be able to do it in a small amount of time and I shouldn't worry if things aren't doing as good as I hoped they would do. I find this book really motivational and helpful.
Next thing, I heard many new suggestions that I haven't heard about before, for instance, about reading the book backwards to find grammar or any other mistakes. That is genius! It is a simple solution, but it must be so helpful for the authors and editors.
And what is more, she explains difficult things with simple words. Before I had listened to this file, I did not know anything about book publishing or how to divide chapters, because there is so much information on the internet, but almost none of it is helpful. Now everything seems so simple when she has explained it to me. This book is a must, because it will save your time, give you many good advises and be a personal guide on how to write a book without losing all your nerves.

What does Tara Richter bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

In my opinion, it is more interesting to listen to audio version rather than paper version, because Tara Richer shows her personal opinion and personal thoughts. I could hear some great jokes and laughing about some of her experiences, situations that she had gone through before. It feels more personal when I can hear the author talking about herself.
What is more, she always gives some points that prove her information and that is really important if you are seriously thinking about writing a book.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I did not find anything wrong about narrator's performance, I could almost agree with all the information that was given, sound quality was great and the performer talked clearly and understandable.

Any additional comments?

At first, I had a few doubts about listening an hour long book that is in English, as it is not my mother tongue, but after about a minute I understood that the narrator speaks calmly, understandably and clearly, and I can catch up with her talking speed. So it is a big plus for people like me, because there are often situations when speaker talks so fast that I cannot understand a word, but this is not that kind of an audio book.
