This book is a good resource for first-time dads. I like that it starts from the very beginning- finding out the news- and continues throughout the duration of the pregnancy, birth, and presence of the new baby at home. Many books focus on just the skills of being a dad, but this guide also delves into the emotions and life changes that will happen, as well as the feelings of their partner and how best to support her, as well. I also like the fun sports-theme of the chapters. Overall a good basic intro on the joys (and tricks) of fatherhood.

This audiobook is just what the father-to-be needs in order to feel comfortable with the life changes that are coming to your family. I was particularly interested in the tips the author gave for earning "brownie points" with your partner throughout her pregnancy. Pay special attention to these nuggets as they will definitely impress your wife.
