  • The Radical Acts of Self-Compassion
    Sep 16 2021
In this solo episode, I reflect on radical self-compassion and why it is important for healing. You might be wondering, why are acts of self-compassion radical? The simple answer is that in a world where shame and punishment are normalized, self-compassion becomes radical and necessary.

For many, the punishment you have received and witnessed in your childhood shapes your adulthood. I believe the first step towards healing starts with being kind to ourselves. Tune in to this episode to learn more about how punishment has shaped our lives and how we can overcome what has been broken through radical self-compassion.

After writing, ‘healing comes in waves back in 2014 and eventually publishing it as part of my poetry collection in 2015, I realize how much more there is to understand our healing, to understanding my own healing as well.
