today we are going to chat about toxic beauty standards. as a girl, I have struggled with the beauty standards we face as a population. it seems like a lot of you girls also struggle with them, as I have received countless requests and DM’s to cover this subject.

having the perfect skin, the perfect body, the perfect clothing, the perfect everything is really exhausting. to be convinced on social media and IRL that there is something wrong with you, even if things like acne and stretch marks are completely normal, is messed up.

so join me in today’s episode as I cover how subjective beauty really is, the impact of social media, and all of the things women are told they should fear (cough cough, aging, a tummy pouch, acne), when really, they are completely normal things.

it is NORMAL to want to feel beautiful. it is OK to work hard on your skincare and appearance. but, once that starts to become your self-worth, that is where we have to draw the line.
