    Kate Milligan is an Emmy-nominated producer, writer, speaker, story-teller, host of The 1 Girl Revolution Podcast, and founder of 1 Girl Revolution, She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Master’s degree in Public Affairs and Political Communication from the Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland.

    Kate worked in public relations and media for 15 years and founded 1 Girl Revolution in an effort to tell the stories of everyday women and girls that are so often ignored, forgotten and marginalized. Kate decided to use her PR and media skills to create a nonprofit multimedia enterprise that is dedicated to telling the authentic stories of women and girls who are changing the world through their lives.

    Kate’s first short documentary “The Girl Inside” was nominated for an Emmy Award in December 2021 and her second documentary “In Tandem” was released in May 2022.

    Kate has appeared on numerous television and radio programs and she speaks regularly on a variety of issues including world-changing women, female empowerment, culture, the importance of storytelling, forgotten populations, the power of one – and how we have the power to change the world, and so much more.
