  • What Does The Bible Say About War?
    Sep 26 2024

Going to war should always be a nation’s last resort. If there is any other way, we must absolutely explore all possibilities before entering a battle. However, war sometimes comes to a nation unprovoked, and they are forced to defend their people. If this is the case, and if all solutions are exhausted or ignored by a nation’s enemies, yes the Bible does support war.

We should also be grateful for the men and women who have fought in wars, who have given their lives for our freedom, and for those serving today. We must continue to pray for our military and for our leaders. Without our mighty military, we would not be able to enjoy the blessed freedoms we have as a nation.

Listen as Bill and Annette share more on the topic of war as revealed in the Bible.

  • How Did Jesus Describe Hell?
    Sep 19 2024

There are three themes used by Jesus that describe hell in the New Testament.

    1. Punishment
    2. Destruction
    3. Banishment

Punishment includes burning that shall not be quenched, torment and agony, extreme thirst, weeping and gnashing of teeth, being cut into pieces and more

Destruction refers to damnation, perishing, death, judgment, and eternal ruination.

Banishment is described as outer darkness, inability to cross over into heaven, being cast away from God’s presence, and being cast into hell fire.

With all these terms used by Jesus Himself, it is impossible to justify annihilation in hell...or that every person will go to heaven. The bible clearly debunks both of these false beliefs.

Bill and Annette go into greater biblical detail sharing what Jesus said of hell.

  • Revisiting The Rapture
    Sep 12 2024

A pre-tribulation view teaches that the Rapture of the church (both the dead and living saints) will occur before the seven-year tribulation period, or before the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel (verses 9:24–27).

People will say that believing in a pre-tribulation rapture makes you a person with an “escape mentality.” They're right! We do want to escape the events to come. If people fully understood how horrendous the seven-year tribulation will be, they would want to escape it too.

We see the increase in deception and lies, the wickedness, the perversion, the attack on children, the censorship of truth, and the persecution against Christians and Jews. It is obvious that more of this is coming and we believe that we will not be here to see it come to its full, evil fruition.

Listen as Bill and Annette share biblical insight on this subject.

Thank you

Thank you for sharing your story Bill and to the both of you, thank you for sharing and talking about things people are generally not that comfortable discussing, but it needs to be addressed. I have struggled with my faith for many years, falling back into habitual sin. But when I heard your story it quite literally ‘lit a fire in me’ to make the change towards Jesus that I need to. Then finding your podcasts and listening to them have become part of my routine. Listening to just one of your messages gives me the inspiration to continue seeking God, to continue reading His word, to keep my eyes on and my trust in Him through the good and the bad times. I still have a lot to learn, further to grow in faith but these podcasts and your story have given me the push I didn’t know I needed to set myself straight with God. So thank you! For sharing and talking about your experiences and inspiring me everyday to keep working and desiring that deep intimate relationship with God. May God continue to have favour over your lives and bless you for many more years to come.

This podcast has a good message, but...

I find these podcasts a little disjointed. They are not polished as some others. Nevertheless, these podcasts can be informative, but you have to be aware that Bill does sometimes add or take away from scripture in order to prove a point. And that leads to less than accurate Scripture. For example, and by way of background, those who are unfamiliar with Bill's 'vision' here is a condensed version of the night he became a future book author.

The story goes like this; Bill had come home after a night out with his wife. Later in the night he woke up to use the bathroom. On the way he passed out and fell to the floor (he doesn't drink, so that was not the cause). His wife woke him up from a terrible nightmare he was experiencing while he laid there. It was so real, he feels very strongly that it was a vision from God. Scripture tells us God keeps the fallen angels (demons) "securely chained in prisons of darkness", (see Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter 2:4). But Bill's vision showed the demons working as prison guards in hell where they tormented lost souls or locked them up. It's an interesting and disturbing concept, although many point out that it is not biblical. Either way, Christians are in agreement that Bill Wiese preaches good scripture in his podcast, such as the message in this one. But, he does leave out inconvenient facts, like Jude 1:6 and 2 Peter 2, as mentioned above. But he will reference other scripture that supports his "vision". And thats the difficult part to ignore.
