• What Does The Bible Say About War?
    Sep 26 2024

Going to war should always be a nation’s last resort. If there is any other way, we must absolutely explore all possibilities before entering a battle. However, war sometimes comes to a nation unprovoked, and they are forced to defend their people. If this is the case, and if all solutions are exhausted or ignored by a nation’s enemies, yes the Bible does support war.

We should also be grateful for the men and women who have fought in wars, who have given their lives for our freedom, and for those serving today. We must continue to pray for our military and for our leaders. Without our mighty military, we would not be able to enjoy the blessed freedoms we have as a nation.

Listen as Bill and Annette share more on the topic of war as revealed in the Bible.

  • How Did Jesus Describe Hell?
    Sep 19 2024

There are three themes used by Jesus that describe hell in the New Testament.

    1. Punishment
    2. Destruction
    3. Banishment

Punishment includes burning that shall not be quenched, torment and agony, extreme thirst, weeping and gnashing of teeth, being cut into pieces and more

Destruction refers to damnation, perishing, death, judgment, and eternal ruination.

Banishment is described as outer darkness, inability to cross over into heaven, being cast away from God’s presence, and being cast into hell fire.

With all these terms used by Jesus Himself, it is impossible to justify annihilation in hell...or that every person will go to heaven. The bible clearly debunks both of these false beliefs.

Bill and Annette go into greater biblical detail sharing what Jesus said of hell.

  • Revisiting The Rapture
    Sep 12 2024

A pre-tribulation view teaches that the Rapture of the church (both the dead and living saints) will occur before the seven-year tribulation period, or before the beginning of the 70th week of Daniel (verses 9:24–27).

People will say that believing in a pre-tribulation rapture makes you a person with an “escape mentality.” They're right! We do want to escape the events to come. If people fully understood how horrendous the seven-year tribulation will be, they would want to escape it too.

We see the increase in deception and lies, the wickedness, the perversion, the attack on children, the censorship of truth, and the persecution against Christians and Jews. It is obvious that more of this is coming and we believe that we will not be here to see it come to its full, evil fruition.

Listen as Bill and Annette share biblical insight on this subject.

  • Is Hell In The New Testament?
    Sep 5 2024

The word Hell is mentioned 23 times in the New Testament. The words hell, pit, sheol, and hades are mentioned 132 times in the Bible. Jesus spoke of hell and destruction 46 times. Other writers of the New Testament talked of hell or everlasting destruction 10 times.

People are quick to dismiss that which they disagree with. Hell is definitely one of those topics. The old adage is, “Don’t discuss religion or politics.” That statement is from the pit of hell. People are dying every day and going to hell because people wont discuss the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ...and the consequences of rejecting that gift.

Sadly, in large part Christians have ignored rejected, and watered down the reality of hell regardless of its mention throughout the Bible.

Listen as Bill and Annette shed light on the subject of hell and the consistency of its mention and warnings in the Bible.

  • The Unclean Spirit
    Aug 29 2024

We live in a world where moral standards have completely deteriorated. Most people, even professing Christians, believe it is fine to be sexually active before marriage or to live with someone. This behavior may be widespread and common in the Church, but God still calls it sin.

What happens when a person plays with sin repeatedly? They open themselves up to being demonized. Yes, even unrepentant Christians can be influenced and driven by demons to continue in sexual sin. Throughout the Bible, particularly the gospels, demon spirits are referred to as unclean spirits. The way to gain freedom from an unclean spirit is to take action and repent!

Listen as Bill and Annette discuss the presence of unclean spirits in the lives of believers, and how to be rid of them for good.

  • Does A Christian Keep Sinning?
    Aug 22 2024

You would be surprised at how many people in the church think they are safe to continue sinning because they said a prayer receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Are these people truly born again?

Beware. Sin can and does cut a person’s life short, and that includes Christians. The Lord is merciful, and He gives people numerous chances to repent and change but time is running out. Practicing a lifestyle of sin and thinking you are "ok" with God is a great deception.

A truly born-again Christian will show the fruit of a changed life. The incorruptible seed (word of God) is in the heart and produces a changed life. If a person claims to be a Christian but their lifestyle never reflects change, they should question if they have ever been born again in the first place

Listen as Bill and Annette give biblical insight on to the topic of Christians who continue in a lifestyle of sin, and the danger it represents.

  • Self Control In The Last Days
    Aug 15 2024

The lack of self-control in today's society is evident all around us. When a person has no divine guidance and no meaningful purpose, they lack healthy boundaries concerning their behavior, attitudes and choices.

When was the last time you examined your spiritual walk, your emotions, your relationships, social media habits, spoken words, and even your eating and financial habits?

Living in the last days takes God’s supernatural grace and ability. The Holy Spirit lives inside of us and He will empower us to walk in freedom rather than live at a low-level of existence. But we must be intentional in our relationship with God each day to fulfill God’s plan for us to reach this lost and hurting world. Time is running out.

Listen as Bill and Annette encourage each of us to take stock of our attitudes and behaviors, being mindful of the last days we are living in.

  • Does The Bible Support the Death Penalty?
    Aug 8 2024

Genesis 9:6, "From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. Whoever sheds man’s blood, By man his blood shall be shed; For in the image of God He made man."

God is the one who instituted capital punishment. However, there are some qualifiers, and there are some exceptions. The original reason God demanded the death penalty for certain sins was not only because they were heinous crimes, but because death is a severe deterrent to prevent others from committing them again. If sin is addressed and punished early on, the rest of society will not embrace it.

Join Bill and Annette for a biblical discussion on capitol punishment.
