I finally feel some hope

I have been feeling increasingly hopeless to the point of depression because of my narcolepsy. When I started listening to this, I didn’t expect much and was convinced that he would begin with, “You have to get more exercise!” I am completely convinced that exercise is of the utmost importance for health, and I can push myself to do it sometimes, but it’s not enough.

He DIDN’T start with exercise, he started by breaking down the body systems involved. He then gave narcolepsy-specific strategies.

I have to say, hearing this from a narcoleptic and hearing him say “we” and “us”makes a big difference, especially when surrounded by people who don’t understand.

I’m grateful.
