    नाशिकजवळ आहे रामभक्त हनुमानाचे जन्मस्थान. त्र्यंबकेश्वर तीर्थाच्या जवळ असलेल्या अंजनेरी या डोंगरी किल्ल्यात हे स्थान आहे. माता अंजनीने इथेच तपश्चर्या केली होती आणि पवनपुत्र हनुमानाचा जन्म इथेच झाला होता. एक छोटासा ट्रेक केल्याचा आनंद देणाऱ्या या देवळाला अवश्य़ भेट द्या.

    Located near Nashik is the birth place of Lord Ram's biggest devotee - Hanuman. It is located in the hill fort of Anjaneri, near the Trimbakeshwar shrine. Hanuman's mother Mata Anjani did penance here and Pawanputra Hanuman was born. A short trek to this temple is a must!

    पुणे शहरातले भरवस्तीतले आणि तरिही फारसे प्रसिध्द नसलेलं मंदिर म्हणजे त्रिशुंड गणेश मंदिर.मुळात शंकराचे म्हणून बांधलेल्या या कोरीव देवळात आता गणपतीची तीन सोंडा धारण केलेली मूर्ती आहे.काळ्या पाषाणातील या मंदिरावरील कोरीवकाम तर अप्रतिम आहेच,या देवळाची रचनाही अनोखी आहे.या मंदिराप्रमाणेच पुण्याच्या प्राचिनत्वाची साक्ष देणारे देऊळ म्हणजे पाताळेश्वराचे गुंफा मंदिर.पुण्यात आल्यावर या दोन्ही देवळांना भेट द्यायलाच हवी.

    Located in the midst of a crowded locality and yet relatively unknown is the Tishund Ganesh Mandir. Originally built as a carved temple of Shankara (Shiva), there is now an idol of Ganesha holding three trunks. The carvings on this black stone temple are amazing and the design of this temple is also unique. Just like this temple, there is the cave temple of Pataleshwar that testifies to the antiquity of Pune. You must visit these two temples on your next visit to Pune.

One such example is the temple of Shri Gondeshwar at Sinnar in Nashik district is believed to belong to the Yadav period, i.e. 12th century. Here, there is a temple of Surya along with Shiva, Parvati, Ganesha, and Vishnu and is known as Shaiva Panchayatan!

    Some of the temples in Maharashtra have a blend of science and mythology. Shri Daityasudan Temple at Lonar in Buldana district of Marathwada is a perfect example of this. In Lonar village, there is a huge crater formed due to an earthquake that happened millions of years ago. Near this crater, there is a carved Sri Daityasudan Temple built thousands of years ago. The similarity between the myth of this temple and the story of the origin of the lake is striking.

The traditional design and the fine wood carvings make this temple a temple of art. Besides, some myths of Kalika Devi, Jakha Devi in this area are also associated with this Kankeshwar Temple!
