About Dani Shear

Dani Shear teaches 6th graders in Los Angeles. She has written several tv pilots, including an award winning pilot "Ex". Dani has blogged for various online magazines including "ModernMom" "FreshSchools" and "BabyNames". "The Foodie Club" is Dani's most personal children's book, since it was inspired by her true life "foodies", her daughters, Sydney and Sunny.

Dani has ghost written a couple children's books and co-authored "Little Luke And The Ghoster Coaster". Her new book, Suki the Silkworm, is about Georgie, the youngest of three siblings, who brings home a new Science project…silkworms! Much to everyone’s surprise, following the life cycle of these new creatures and the lessons they bring, bonds Georgie’s entire family.
