He is subsequently sentenced to 10 years in Florida State Prison, specifically the dreaded Martin County Correctional Institute. This prison is renowned for its notoriety, being one of the most dangerous in the country, plagued by deplorable conditions, including the absence of air conditioning and inhumane food standards.
