  • Getting Out Of Your Own Way
    Aug 31 2020

That little voice in your head is lying to you! Fallon Carter explains how she was able to overcome some of her fears to build the amazing business that she has today.

    http://falloncarterevents.com/

    https://www.instagram.com/falloncarterevents/

Fallon Carter Events was founded 10 years ago after an eventful trip to Paris, France. What was intended to be a week- long wedding celebration with friends, inclusive of unlimited Champagne + croissants, quickly elevated into my crash course as ” week of wedding coordinator.”

Falling in love with the ability to solve problems in real time, I left behind my brand new Political Science degree + law school goals in Washington, DC, and headed to New York City to become an event planner - Fallon Carter Events day. 1. The event in Paris was my first wedding experience as a guest, so I had a serious learning curve when it came to hosting my first wedding, but it went well! That referral led to another, and then another and before I knew it, travel was introduced. Somewhere between weddings in Los Angeles, vow renewals in Nevis, and Milestone birthdays in Cartagena - I realized that the world was my office.

To most, the idea of a destination celebration is just that, an idea. I want to take those ideas, unwrap, and assemble them. The delicious impact of travel is undeniable. Travel should be done often, well, and with others. Simplifying the obstacles that are event + travel logistics is my mission.

I am a Mississippi native, debutante, retired cheerleader, former dance team captain, forever theater kid, and traveler. I am the mother to a few plants and spend most of my time researching vegan + gluten free baking recipes. My hobbies include purchasing domain names and 1000 piece puzzles. Last but not least, I am currently the Event Chair of Wish Upon A Wedding New York

Cheers to Adventure, Exploration + Celebrating!
