It is officially summer! While summer can feel like a busy season for some people, it can also be a slower time when it comes to inquiries and gaining new business, to the point where you might start wondering, "Hey, how am I going to find that next client for my service business?"

This week and next week, I have a two-part series where I'm sharing 8 ways to make more money in your business as a service provider. So whether you're a designer, a copywriter, a podcast producer, an event planner, social media manager, photographer, coach, whatever you do, these tips will help you make more money in your service business.

And if you also sell products, listen to this as well because a lot of this stuff really overlaps well with that too.

If we’re all just being honest, productivity just doesn’t look the same in the before and after of motherhood. But often you’re not told that as a new mama, you’re just told “productivity hacks for moms” and that you’ll “feel like your old self” eventually and to “sleep when the baby sleeps” (but also try working during nap time).

But here’s the problem: sometimes this can sound like you need to keep doing the same things as you did before you were a mother. And in my experience, it just doesn’t work that way - which is something I REALLY wish I had understood before becoming a mom. It would have saved me from the PRESSURE I felt to “get things done” the way I did before.

So whether you’re a new mom, an expecting mom, or a mom of a few kiddos, today I want to casually chat about what productivity might mean in this season of your life as a mom to little kids who also has a business and wears a lot of hats!
