COMING HOME

By: Laura Bach and Sandra Andreis
  • Summary

  • At a time when all of us have experienced being isolated in our homes, it's easy to feel less at home than ever. This is a podcast where we, Scandinavian actresses Laura Bach and Sandra Andreis, invite world-renowned fellow artists, norm-breakers, researchers, scientists & spiritual leaders to share inspiring insights, vulnerable stories and hands-on advice about how we all can feel more at home with ourselves.

Together with our guests, we examine how to break the behavioral patterns that make us feel stuck and explore how to live a more joyful, connected and sustainable life from the inside and out. Because we do know one thing - maybe now more than ever - regardless of our gender identity, profession or nationality, we are more alike than we are different, and often it is a crisis or a challenge that cracks our hearts wide open and brings us closer to ourselves.

Get ready to laugh and be moved by the fresh perspectives that our knowledgeable and courageous guests bring to the table. Every episode is made to take you on an entertaining and profound ride. Welcome to Coming Home!

  • Be Kind To Yourself EP 10
    Jul 11 2022

In this season finale episode, we dive deep into the subject of self-compassion. Why is it so hard to extend compassion to ourselves, when we so easily give it to others?

For the first time on this podcast, both Sandra and Laura have recorded a surprise story to play for one another without knowing what the other one is bringing to the table. It opens up for a vulnerable and honest conversation about the difficulty of truly embracing oneself and the continuous work of accepting our own imperfections.

Also in this episode—transformational coach Agnes Branny clarifies the difference between 'self compassion' and 'self care'. She provides a unique insight into why the general perception of self esteem can eventually lead to depression, but also how our understanding of ourselves as 'cyclical beings' can help us shift perspectives and even change our lives.

And then for the first time ever, ‘The Coming Home' song is aired. This piece of music magic is created and sung by Sandra Andreis herself, together with Caroline Ljungström and Henrik Jonzon. They made it as a reminder to us all to relax and connect with yourself when your head is spinning. Something to listen, play and dance to when you simply need to come home

In this episode we touch upon:

-The three pillars of self compassion.

-The inner critic vs the inner friend.

-Why uncertainty in itself is not something to overcome.

    -The importance of failing.

-How to set intentions instead of tasks.

  • From Protection To Connection EP 8
    Jun 13 2022

Swedish psychologist Jenny Rickardsson joins us for this special episode on relationships. How do we handle and deepen them? How do we actually connect? Sandra shares her story about how one single sentence from a partner pierced her heart with a truth that rings in her ears to this day.
