From 2009 to 2012 Sunstein served as the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs with the Obama Administration, where he pioneered the use of behavioral science in public policy. His interdisciplinary work has been internationally recognized, earning him the Holberg prize in 2018.
