Listen in on another conversation Kelly with Shannon Warner of Having a Mom Moment, as they discuss how to maintain aligned energy. The conversation focuses on simple ideas inspired by Shannon’s father. The conversation reminds us all of the impact of living a full and generous life and the importance of noticing and appreciating life's unexpected gifts.

    Main points:

    • Define for yourself what vibrant living looks like for you.
    • For Shannon’s father, it was summed up as:
      • live large,
      • give generously, and
      • enjoy great music & always make time for a car ride with a soda pop.

  • Align Your Energy & Create Your Dreams
    Jun 25 2024

Stop by Kellytibbitts.com to learn more, or send me a text.

This week's podcast is a partial recording from my INVEST in your Dreams group coaching program. We look at energy in its various forms and discuss the importance of noticing that our energy lies in the step between what we notice and our decision making & planning. This has a great impact on our actions, which, in turn, move us either closer or further away from fulfilling our dreams. The transition from noticing to deciding must be done with the right energy to be impactful. Only then can we choose the most effective tools that align our energy daily and move us towards the fulfillment of our dreams.

    Main points:

    • Visualize the energy you want to live in - what is the image or words that represent that energy to you?
    • Identify your people - the ones that lean into you, the ones that line up with your energy and your values.
    • Learn to notice when you are in aligned energy and when you are not.
      • If you are not - take steps to realign yourself. Know what works for you.
      • THEN, once aligned, make your decisions and do your specific planning.

  • A Mom Moment conversation with Shannon Warner
    Jun 18 2024

Stop by Kellytibbitts.com to learn more, or send me a text.

Listen in on Kelly’s conversation with Shannon Warner, of the Having a Mom Moment podcast.

Kelly and Shannon are both passionate about supporting mothers and advocating for empowered motherhood. Let’s embrace the chaos of motherhood while still nurturing ourselves, our desires, and our careers.

Put your oxygen mask of self care on first. By centering ourselves and noticing our importance, we become better able to share joy and love to those we love, including our children.

We are better mothers when we focus first on working towards being the best version of ourselves.

    Main points:

    • It’s important to continue taking care of yourself, no matter how busy the season of motherhood is.
    • Resist the isolation that motherhood can bring and join a community of support with other mothers.
    • At the same time, resist too much comparison; learn and embrace YOUR unique journey.
    • Be intentional about your personal morning and bedtime routines.
    • Choose your thoughts like you choose your clothes.

  • An Enneagram Conversation with Sheryl Davis

Listen in on a conversation I had with Sherly Davis (Wellness in a Chaotic World) in which I tell my story of learning the Enneagram and how this self awareness tool changed my life for the better.

    Main points:

    • The Enneagram helped me understand my primary motivations and primary fears. It gave me the ability to have more grace and compassion for others.
    • It also helped me learn to be kinder to myself about situations that I had beat myself up over in the past.
    • I learned that I process everything through my feelings, but that not everybody processes that way! It’s one of three ways, called the Center of Intelligence.
      • 234 - feelings/heart
      • 567 - mind/head
      • 891 - body/gut
    • I also learned that my primary instinct is self preservation, which is also not everyone’s primary instinct! There are 3 underlying instincts, which further delineate the 9 types into 27 types.
      • Self preservation
      • Social
      • One-to-One

  • The Motivations Behind The Working Genuis
    May 21 2024

Stop by Kellytibbitts.com to learn more, or send me a text.

As I’ve been sharing in the last few podcasts, The Working Genius is a powerful self awareness tool that can transform both your personal and your work life. In today’s podcast, I focus on the underlying motivations behind each genius. What things people in each genius crave or desire, and what things “crush them”.

Everyone, regardless of their working genius, craves to be seen, understood, and wanted. When you understand what specific things you crave and what crushes you, you can not only better identify your geniuses but also use that information to have more agency in your life - to work more productively, improve work and personal relationships, and avoid burnout.

    Main points:

    • Understanding what motivations are behind each genius is vital to be able to use this information to improve your life and your relationships.
    • Wonder - craves being considered; crushed when dismissed.
    • Invention - craves freedom; crushed by constraints or when others jump in too soon.
    • Discernment - craves being trusted; crushed when told to “prove it”.
    • Galvanizing - craves reaction; crushed by apathy.
    • Enabling - craves appreciation; crushed by being overlooked.
    • Tenacity - craves clarity; crushed by ambiguity.

  • The Working Genius Pairings Workshop
    May 14 2024

Stop by Kellytibbitts.com to learn more, or send me a text.

This week on the podcast I am sharing the audio from my recent workshop on the Working Genius pairings. You can look at the workshop workbook here.

In the Working Genius model, each of us has 2 of the 6 geniuses (Wonder, Ideation, Discernment, Galvanizing, Enablement, and Tenacity).

Therefore, there are 15 various combinations of genius pairs.

Because the geniuses play off each other and correspond to different stages of work, your unique pairing has implications for your impact on the team and what stages of work your contributions best fit.

Take a listen and see if you can identify your pair of geniuses. It can improve relationships, work effectiveness, and be truly life changing to know this about yourself and to believe in YOUR genius. !

    Main points:

    • Each of us has a pair of geniuses that make unique combinations that are expressed differently, depending on which genius is most dominant.
    • Are your two areas of genius at the beginning (ideation) of the work process? In the middle(activation)? At the end (finishing)? Split between stages?
    • Understanding your unique pairing can help you understand how and when you best can contribute at which stage of work
      • Take note where you (and the team) would benefit from you backing off/stepping aside to allow others to step in.
      • Instead of skipping over the steps that aren’t in your area of genius - collaborate with others!
    • This self awareness can help you not only be more productive but also can help keep your energy aligned and prevent you from burning out due to working in your areas of non-genius.

    May 7 2024

Stop by Kellytibbitts.com to learn more, or send me a text.

The Working Genius is a self awareness model created by Pat Lencioni that has transformed teams in the workplace and also personal relationships as well. Take a listen for an overview and start to discover your geniuses!

    Main points:

    • There are 6 steps to getting work done, each of which correspond to the 6 “geniuses” - Wonder, Ideation, Discerning, Galvanizing, Enablement, and Tenacity.
    • Each of us typically has two areas of genius that bring us energy, two areas that frustrate and drain us, and two areas somewhere in the middle.
    • This podcast gives a high level overview of each genius. This introduction is a start to understanding your geniuses. It’s important to delve deeper to get true transformation.
    • Start by noticing which activities under each area bring you joy and energize you and which deplete your energy (or you dread even the thought of doing).
