Unto us a Child is Born the Exalted Child

THE CHILD WHO WAS BORN IN A MANGER DESPISED BY MAN AND ENTERED THE GRAVE WAS EXALTED BY GOD

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭110‬:‭1‬-‭2‬

“The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!”

    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭3‬

“God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,”

    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬-‭12‬ ‭

“For to which of the angels did He ever say: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You”? And again: “I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son”? But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all the angels of God worship Him.” And of the angels He says: “Who makes His angels spirits And His ministers a flame of fire.” But to the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.” And: “You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up,..

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭12‬

“Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces And cast away Their cords from us.” He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, And distress them in His deep displeasure: “Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion.” “I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, ‘You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth for Your possession.....

    HUMILITY COMES BEFORE EXALTATION

    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬-‭11‬

“Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

    ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭12‬

“This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him. If we endure, We shall also reign with Him. If we deny Him, He also will deny us.”

    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20‬:‭4‬

“And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭12‬:‭32‬

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬

“To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.”

  • Unto us a Child is Born, He didn't come Down from the Cross

Unto us a Child is Born, He didn't come Down from the Cross

    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬

“looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭52‬-‭54‬

“But Jesus said to him, “Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels? How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?””

WHERE COULD WE BE IF JESUS HAD WALKED AWAY FROM THE CROSS? THANK GOD HE DIDN'T

    ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬

“And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭20‬-‭21‬

“Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them. But they shouted, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!””

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭33‬

“And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.”

    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭15‬:‭29‬-‭32‬

‭ “And those who passed by blasphemed Him, wagging their heads and saying, “Aha! You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself, and come down from the cross!” Likewise the chief priests also, mocking among themselves with the scribes, said, “He saved others; Himself He cannot save. Let the Christ, the King of Israel, descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe.” Even those who were crucified with Him reviled Him.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭34‬-‭35‬

“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots. And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.””

    ‭‭John‬ ‭19‬:‭30‬

“So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

FAITHFUL TILL DEATH IS TO BE OUR MOTTO

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭23‬

“Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭9‬:‭62‬

“But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭35‬-‭39‬

“Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.”

    ‭‭Nehemiah‬ ‭6‬:‭3‬-‭4‬

“So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?” But they sent me this message four times, and I answered them in the same manner.”

    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬

“Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

Unto us a Child is Born, Baptized at a Believing Age

    Mark‬ ‭16‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭

“And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”

IN THE WORD OF GOD ONLY THOSE WHO ARE MATURE ENOUGH TO BELIEVE ARE BAPTIZED. JESUS WAS NO LONGER AN INFANT WHEN HE WAS BAPTIZED, HE COULD REASON WITH JOHN AND HE COULD PRAY

    ‭‭

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭17‬

“Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Then he allowed Him. When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.””

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭3‬:‭21‬-‭22‬

“When all the people were baptized, it came to pass that Jesus also was baptized; and while He prayed, the heaven was opened. And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said, “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.””

THE ETHIOPIAN EUNUCH AND THE PHILIPPIAN JAILER COULD BE TAUGHT AND UNDERSTAND IN ORDER TO BE BAPTIZED

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭34‬-‭38‬

“So the eunuch answered Philip and said, “I ask you, of whom does the prophet say this, of himself or of some other man?” Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him. Now as they went down the road, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?” Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.” So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭16‬:‭30‬-‭34‬

“And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. And he took them the same hour of the night and washed their stripes. And immediately he and all his family were baptized. Now when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them; and he rejoiced, having believed in God with all his household.”

IN THE GREAT COMMISSION BAPTISM IS ASSOCIATED WITH TEACHING

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬-‭20‬

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭37‬-‭39‬

...Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.””

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭46‬-‭47‬

“Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

    ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2‬:‭21‬

“For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭8‬:‭38‬-‭39‬

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭22‬:‭16‬

“And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’”

Unto us a Child is Born, Dedicated but not Baptized as an infant

JESUS WAS NOT BAPTIZED IN INFANCY BUT WAS DEDICATED AT THE TEMPLE

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭25‬-‭33‬

“And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.” And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him.”

OUR CHILDREN TOO IN THEIR INFANCY MUST BE DEDICATED TO GOD

    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭10‬:‭13‬-‭16‬

“Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” And He took them up in His arms, laid His hands on them, and blessed them.”

    Parents, give your children to the Lord, and ever keep it before their minds that they belong to Him, that they are lambs of Christ’s flock, watched over by the true Shepherd. Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord; and it is said of him, “Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words [the Lord’s words through Samuel] fall to the ground.” In the case of this prophet and judge in Israel are presented the possibilities that are placed before a child whose parents co-operate with God, doing their appointed – {Pastoral Ministry p. 167.5}

    2 Timothy 3:15-17

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

GOD WILL TEACH AND PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN

    Psalms‬ ‭32‬:‭8‬ ‭

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.”

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭13‬

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children.”

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54‬:‭16‬-‭17‬

““Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭25‬

“But thus says the Lord: “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, And the prey of the terrible be delivered; For I will contend with him who contends with you, And I will save your children.”

    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2‬:‭5‬

“For I,’ says the Lord, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ ”

    ‭‭Zechariah‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬

“For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”

    ‭‭John‬ ‭10‬:‭28‬-‭29‬

“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.”

Unto us a Child is Born, hated without Cause

    ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭10‬:‭38‬-‭39‬

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree.”

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭109‬:‭3‬-‭5‬

“They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause. In return for my love they are my accusers, But I give myself to prayer. Thus they have rewarded me evil for good, And hatred for my love.”

    ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭23‬-‭25‬

“He who hates Me hates My Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’”

    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭161‬

“Princes persecute me without a cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your word.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭6‬-‭7‬

“When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the Man were a Galilean. And as soon as he knew that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭11‬-‭12‬

“Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate. That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other.”

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭19‬

“While he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent to him, saying, “Have nothing to do with that just Man, for I have suffered many things today in a dream because of Him.”

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭27‬:‭22‬-‭25‬

“Pilate said to them, “What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?” They all said to him, “Let Him be crucified!” Then the governor said, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more, saying, “Let Him be crucified!” When Pilate saw that he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just Person. You see to it.” And all the people answered and said, “His blood be on us and on our children.””

    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭15‬:‭15‬

“So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be crucified.”

    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭13‬:‭28‬-‭30‬

“And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. But God raised Him from the dead.”

WE TOO WILL BE HATED WITHOUT CAUSE

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭9‬

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”

    ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭18‬-‭19‬

““If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.”

    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭35‬-‭37‬

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Unto us a Child is Born, The Unwelcome Child

    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭4‬-‭5‬

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

ALTHOUGH SENT OF GOD FOR OUR REDEMPTION HE WAS UNWELCOME ON HIS DIVINE MISSION

    ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬-‭13‬

“He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”

    ‭‭Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭6‬-‭7‬

“So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭

“Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.””

    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬-‭18‬

“Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted, Because they are no more.””

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭1‬-‭3‬

“Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him, There is no beauty that we should desire Him. He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.”

WELCOME HIM TO DAY IN YOUR HEART

    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.”

    ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬

“while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.””

    ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭24‬-‭28‬

“Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, Because you disdained all my counsel, And would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, When your terror comes like a storm, And your destruction comes like a whirlwind, When distress and anguish come upon you. “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me.”

    ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭55‬:‭6‬-‭7‬

“Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.”

Unto us a Child is Born: GO TELL THE WORLD 🌍 ABOUT JESUS (Part 5) An Unborn Baby Salutes Jesus 🙏

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

THOSE THAT SAW HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN TOLD OTHERS ABOUT HIM

    The Hymn writer sang

I think of my blessed Redeemer,

    I think of Him all the day long;

    I sing, for I cannot be silent;

His love is the theme of my song.

    Refrain

    Redeemed, redeemed,

    Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!

His child and forever I am.

ELIZABETH’S UNBORN BABY SALUTED THE MASTER, WHEN JESUS STILL IN THE WOMB PAID HER A VISIT. ELIZABETH COULD NOT BE SILENT AFTER THE BLESSED EVENT.

    Luke 1:41-45 ISV

When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby jumped in her womb. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit 42and exclaimed with a loud cry, “How blessed are you among women, and how blessed is the fruit of your womb! 43Why should this happen to me, to have the mother of my Lord visit me! 44For as soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb jumped for joy. 45How blessed is this woman for believing that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled!”

    Mark 16:15-16

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

    The gospel commission is the great missionary charter of Christ’s kingdom. The disciples were to work earnestly for souls, giving to all the invitation of mercy. They were not to wait for the people to come to them; they were to go to the people with their message. – {Acts of the Apostles p. 28.1}

    Matthew 28:18-20

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19¶Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Acts 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

    The disciples felt their spiritual need and cried to the Lord for the holy unction that was to fit them for the work of soul saving. They did not ask for a blessing for themselves merely. They were weighted with the burden of the salvation of souls. They realized that the gospel was to be carried to the world, and they claimed the power that Christ had promised. – {Acts of the Apostles p. 37.2}

    Revelation 22:17

And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

    John‬ ‭4‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”

    John 9:4

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Unto us a Child is Born: GO TELL THE WORLD 🌍 ABOUT JESUS (Part 4) Women Proclaimed the Gospel ‼️

    By Pastor and Mrs Chifamba

THOSE THAT SAW HIM WHEN HE WAS BORN TOLD OTHERS ABOUT HIM

    Psalm 68:11

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

    Our sisters, the youth, the middle-aged, and those of advanced years, may act a part in the closing work for this time – {Our Father Cares p. 322.2}

THE GOSPEL COMMISSION IS FOR ALL BELIEVERS NOT JUST THE ORDAINED MINISTERS. ANNA WAS A PROPHETESS WHO PREACHED ABOUT BABY JESUS IN THE TEMPLE. THE WOMAN AT THE WELL WAS A BRAND NEW CONVERT WHO BROUGHT THE WHOLE CITY TO JESUS.

    Luke‬ ‭2‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭NKJV‬

“Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.”

    Not upon the ordained minister only rests the responsibility of going forth to fulfill this commission. Everyone who has received Christ is called to work for the salvation of his fellow men. “The Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come.” Revelation 22:17. The charge to give this invitation includes the entire church. Everyone who has heard the invitation is to echo the message from hill and valley, saying, “Come.” – {Acts of the Apostles p. 110.1}

    It is fatal mistake to suppose that the work of soul-saving depends alone upon the ministry…. God will send forth into His vineyard many who have not been dedicated to the ministry by the laying on of hands. – {Acts of the Apostles p. 110.2}

    John 4:24-30

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 25The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. 26Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. 27¶And upon this came his disciples, and marvelled that he talked with the woman: yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why talkest thou with her? 28The woman then left her waterpot, and went her way into the city, and saith to the men, 29Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? 30Then they went out of the city, and came unto him.

    John 4:39-43

And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did. 40So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days. 41And many more believed because of his own word; 42And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world. 43¶Now after two days he departed thence, and went into Galilee.

    The apostle Paul says to the disciples of Jesus, “Ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ,” “known and read of all men.” 2 Corinthians 3:3, 2. In every one of His children, Jesus sends a letter to the world. If you are Christ’s follower, He sends in you a letter to the family, the village, the street, where you live. Jesus, dwelling in you, desires to speak to the hearts of those who are not acquainted with Him. Perhaps they do not read the Bible, or do not hear the voice that speaks to them in its pages; they do not see the love of God through His works. But if you are a true representative of Jesus, it may be that through you they will be led to understand something of His goodness and be won to love and serve Him. – {Steps to Christ p. 115.1}

    John 20:20-21

And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord…..
