  • Episode 39-Overcoming Infidelity with guest Courtney Joseph Fallick
    Jul 30 2024

On this week's episode of Embracing Your Season, Paige has an amazing guest on the show. Courtney Joseph Fallick is a best-selling author of the book: Still Standing as well as the founder of Women Living Well Ministries and Good Morning Girls. Listen and be inspired as Courtney shares how after 19 years of marriage and ministry, her world was upended due to infidelity. Having children, navigating through divorce, and raising littles was intense but she shares how Jesus was with her during the whole process. Courtney’s story is a true testament to how God can use hard times in life to bring us closer to Him and bring Him glory.

    Takeaways:

    1. We need to offer grace and forgiveness to others that may have hurt us but we also need to have boundaries to build back trust in the relationship.
    2. Be open and honest by coming to our spouse to talk through things that may have happened. This can be a confession of sin or just communicating about events on the calendar.
    3. Sometimes things like divorce can happen in families but make sure we are respecting and honoring the other person to our kids. Don’t say things to make the kids feel like they have to pick sides. Be kind and say kind things.

  • Episode 38-How to Cast Out Fear with guest Jessica Landmon
    Jul 23 2024

As a mother, have you ever struggled with fear and anxiety when it comes to your kids safety and protection? On this week's episode of Embracing Your Season, Paige welcomes Jessica Landmon on the show. Jessica is the founder of Women Get Real Ministries where she empowers women by helping them get free from the bondage of fear and encourages them to find their calling and boldly walk in it. She is also the author of the book, She Who Dwells: Overcoming Fear and Finding Peace. Listen as they encourage listeners to go to the Word of God to overcome the fears that we all have.

    Takeaways:

    1. Fear can dominate our lives if we let it. God is good and He loves us but we live in a fallen, broken world and bad things can still happen. God walks with us and never leaves us through these tough times.
    2. Surrendering our fears to God. He takes care of us in all things so we can rely and trust Him with the fears and anxieties we have.
    3. How do we walk with our kids when they are fearful? We can help them understand their value and God’s love for them. This sets a good foundation for them to know they have purpose and identity in their lives.
