  • EP #16 Jesse Zeman of BC Wildlife Federation
    Jul 18 2024

Check out my recent interview with Jesse Zeman, Executive Director of the BC Wildlife Federation. Jesse and I dive into hunter numbers, animal population numbers and what it is that the BCWF actually DOES and how you can get involved with conservation in BC.

Jesse Zeman stepped into the role of Executive Director of the BC Wildlife Federation in 2021 but started his BCWF career almost 9 years ago as the Director of Fish and Wildlife Restoration before taking on the ED role. Although Jesse comes from an aviation background as a Pilot for Air Canada and a Captain and line instructor for Boeing at KF Aerospace, he’s no stranger to the great outdoors and has been actively involved in Dynamic Outdoor Solutions for more than 17 years, which is a research firm that specializes in outdoor recreation and natural resource use.

  • EP #15 Pete Gutsche on the Wild Sheep Society
    Jun 13 2024

Have a watch of my recent interview with Pete Gutshe of the Wild Sheep Society. Pete and I meander through various topics about hunting, wild sheep and threats to their survival as well as the amazing conservation efforts of the Wild Sheep Society.

Pete grew up in a hunting family, following in his Father's and Opa's footsteps before him. He has explored most of the adventures BC offers from a hunting standpoint and has recently taken up guiding in the NWT as a part-time job. In addition to hunting, he has been a strong advocate for conservation, serving as a Director with the Wild Sheep Society of BC for the past six years.
