• 🌸 On Friendships, Loneliness, and Being Liked
    Sep 4 2024

In this "free flow" solo episode, I talk about something I've recently realised after years of therapy (I've known it a while, but I didn't put it into words until a few days ago lol)

I'll touch on how wanting to be liked makes you lonely and what we might really need from others ✨

As always, I’d love to keep the conversation going, you can reach out to me on Instagram and subscribe on YouTube for more content.

  • Can you fail at life? (when you feel like you're behind in life)
    Aug 29 2024

Can you fail at life? It seems like a simple yes or no question, but is it really that straightforward?

If you’ve ever felt like you’re falling short because you’re not where you should be, this episode is for you.

Join me as we challenge the very notion of what it means to fail or succeed.

    We’ll explore:

    • The relativity of failure and how it changes based on who sets the goals.
    • How to differentiate between goals that are truly yours versus those imposed by others, and the importance of defining success on your own terms.
    • Why living authentically is vital, even when others might not understand or agree with your choices.
    • How embracing the uniqueness of your journey can free you from the pressure to conform.

Plus, we’ll touch on something crucial: acknowledging that sometimes, just doing your best is enough—and that takes a lot out of us.

It’s time to redefine success in a way that resonates with who you are and what you truly want out of life.

Tune in, and let’s break down the myths of failure and success together.

I'm always open to hear your thoughts, find me on Instagram or YouTube ✨

  • Perfectionism and Content Creation: When Simplicity Feels Impossible
    Aug 22 2024

Ever had a simple content idea that spiralled out of control into endless tabs, over-research, and perfectionism?

    You’re not alone.

In this episode, I dive into the all-too-familiar struggle of overcomplicating content creation.

I share my personal experience of getting tangled in research and losing sight of the original message, along with tips to avoid falling into the trap of complexity and perfectionism.

We’ll explore why sometimes “good enough” is the best choice, and how to strike the balance between depth and clarity in your content.

Tune in if you’re ready to stop overthinking and start hitting publish, I've made these suggestions ADHD friendly, so if you - like me - tend to fall down a rabbit hole and use perfectionism to either procrastinate or avoid completing something, welcome to the space.

  • What we got wrong about life's purpose
    Aug 14 2024

Do you ever wonder why you’re on this planet and what you’re supposed to be doing with your one precious life?

The purpose is the first thing we look at when we feel lost in life. Because we’re eager to find answers.

In this episode, I’ll start by defining what we generally mean by “life’s purpose.” Then, I'll clear up some common misunderstandings (errors) and the danger they bring. I'll then explain why the advice to 'find your purpose' can be misleading.

Finally, I'll explore what it really means to live a purposeful life and why you might want to ditch the metaphorical shovel, as no digging is necessary.

I’d love to keep the conversation going, so reach out to me on Instagram, I have two profiles, a personal and a podcast one... see you there!

  • Before You Read Another Self-Help Book
    Aug 9 2024

Do you ever just "not function" like you're (allegedly) supposed to?

Or do you not know why all your efforts are not paying off, yet you tell yourself you're about to "find your definite, almost certain missing piece for life to make sense and finally function normally"?

Just to then feel a bunch of shame and guilt and begin to think you’re at fault for that. Just wait.

What if I told you there is nothing wrong with you, but you might not know what you are working with?

As I share two steps to living a serene, more authentic life, I’ll talk a little bit about my journey from self-help books to therapy and tools that didn’t work and the importance of understanding how you function before you take action.

Neurodiverse and neurotypical brains literally function differently, so why do we expect the same tools to work for everyone, then why, despite knowing this, do we still carry so much shame when things don’t work out?

I hope throughout this messy (yet surprisingly wonderful) episode you’ll find something that resonates with you, and also a bit of validation for your experience.

✨ Remember to be kind to yourself today. You’re doing the best you can ✨

  • The myth of one and choosing not to choose
    Jul 10 2024

Do you have to follow one path? Are we meant to specialise? Or is it OK to have multiple passions?

In this episode of "Meant for More," I'll share my experience and opinion on how choosing not to specialise is a decision in and of itself.

I want to remove some pressure off your shoulders and let you know it's ok not to know, and how often times, embracing multiple passions and interests can lead to a more fulfilling and dynamic life.

You only get one life, so why limit yourself?
