Denisse shares about her family and their humble beginnings in East LA, to the epiphany she had while she was a student at UCLA that changed the course of her life forever and led to Denisse finding her purpose in protecting the civil rights of her community and so many others. Years later, Denisse took the bold step and opened up her own law firm, Gastélum Law, APC, where she focuses on police shootings and in-custody death cases, representing people in state and federal courts throughout the State of California.
