    Appointed to FDNY in Nov 1973. - Jan 1974 Assigned to Eng 55 in Little Italy. - Jan 1975 Frances Tavern was bombed - 4 killed - July 1976 laid off 14 months - Rehired Aug 1976 Assigned to Ladder 5 in the West Village - Aug 1991 Responded to #4 train derailment at 14th St & Union Sq “Folded 4 train” - March 28,1994 Responded to the Watt’s St Fire as Ladder 5's Chauffeur. Capt John Drennan Lad5, FF Jim Young E24 and FF Chris Siedenburg E24 were lost at this fire. - Sept 11th - He was one of the first to respond and was in the iconic picture of a group removing Father Judge from the towers.
