In this episode, Dr. John and Mark define faith and discuss how Christ is the object of our faith. Faith is believing in what you cannot see but it's also believing in what God hasn't done yet! Jesus was amazed twice and both involved faith. Once he was amazed at the Centurion's faith and the other was the lack of faith from the people in his hometown. The Bible says we are to live by faith, so how do we grow our faith? Dr. John mentions four ways. 1. Discover what God has revealed. 2. Choose to agree with God. 3. Confess God's revealed truth. 4. Live in the light of faith.

Can we find answers in psychology? Should we use psychology in Christianity? John and Mark discuss the value of observable psychology. Understanding the context of rejection and identity helps to see why we function the way we do. For a more in-depth understanding of identity and rejection, listen to episodes 27 and 28. The guys discuss integration and how labels are needed for insurance but can become a "sentence" for people. Labels are descriptive and not our identity. John states that labels are not psychological tattoos. GFI focuses on going beyond coping to the cure. Observable psychology gives us context but Christ is the answer!
