    Retail Relates is hosted by Paula Gean, a tech leader who is passionate about building connected communities and telling stories; Gautham Vadakkapett, a marketing professor with a Ph.D. and a deep curiosity for the retail industry; and Rich Honiball, a retail executive who loves history and is inspired by diversity.

    Why did we come together to start this podcast? Fame? Fortune? Occupy our spare time? Hardly! We came together with this combined goal.

Over the past 30 years, Matt has served on the management teams of iconic American brands such as Banana Republic, Old Navy, Restoration Hardware, and Williams Sonoma. He has led teams in inventory optimization, sourcing and production, strategy, finance, advanced analytics, and technology. Matt has also managed the operational and technology strategies for expansion into new markets, including China and Europe, for multiple brands. Currently, he is the Head of Forecasting and Inventory Operations for Quince, a rapidly growing Series B startup that is fundamentally shifting how products get to customers.
