De: Jessi Morgan
  • Resumen

  • Jessi Morgan in 2023 had a traumatic experience that shaped how she views life and her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God has laid it on her heart to share her experiences and inspire others to put God first in every aspect of their life like she finally did in hers. Having her daughter born 4 months early really made Jessi lean on the Lord for comfort and guidance. And today she stands here starting her brand new 5-10 minute podcast focusing on weekly devotionals about what God can do for you and what He's done for her.

  • Falling into your Fear...Worse Case Scenario
    Jul 25 2024

Text if you need me? Prayer or just need encouragement…

Have you ever been, or known, a person who constantly thinks about the "worst-case scenario"?

In the world's view, a "worst-case scenario" person appears prepared and ready to handle any situation. However, a person relying on Christ as their Savior should see this mindset as blocking their miracles or blessings.

    Key Passages

    Numbers 13 & 14

    John 14:27

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

    Matthew 26:38-39
38 Then he said to them, “My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me.”

39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Marvel Universe meets the book of Esther! Have you ever felt alone and then all of a sudden your support system arrives? Well check out this take on that! Let God Assemble the support you need.

    Episode #11

Key Verses or Passages: Esther 8:8-13

****Verse 8:Now write another decree in the king’s name in behalf of the Jews as seems best to you, and seal it with the king’s signet ring —for no document written in the king’s name and sealed with his ring can be revoked.”

At once the royal secretaries were summoned—on the twenty-third day of the third month, the month of Sivan. They wrote out all Mordecai’s orders to the Jews, and to the satraps, governors and nobles of the 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush. These orders were written in the script of each province and the language of each people and also to the Jews in their own script and language.

****Verse 10: Mordecai wrote in the name of King Xerxes (Zurk seez) sealed the dispatches with the king’s signet ring, and sent them by mounted couriers, who rode fast horses especially bred for the king.

****Verse 11:The king’s edict granted the Jews in every city the right to assemble and protect themselves; to destroy, kill and annihilate the armed men of any nationality or province who might attack them and their women and children, and to plunder the property of their enemies.

****Verse 12: The day appointed for the Jews to do this in all the provinces of King Xerxes (Zurk Seez) was the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar. A copy of the text of the edict was to be issued as law in every province and made known to the people of every nationality so that the Jews would be ready on that day to avenge themselves on their enemies.

    Hebrews 10:25 (KJV)

"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day

Jealousy or Coveting…Ever experienced it? I have for sure. Both ways! I experienced it where people were jealous of me and also how I was jealous of them. It’s not pretty. I’m gonna put myself out here today and talk about myself being jealous or coveting what someone else had. I didn’t want to be cliché and discuss the jealousy I have dealt with from others. Let’s be real and discuss an ugly side of me that I wasn’t proud of for a bit.

    Key Verses & Passages:

Exodus 20:17 - “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Romans 5:8 - “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

    Numbers 12:1-10

    Miriam and Aaron Oppose Moses
    12
Miriam and Aaron began to talk against Moses because of his Cushite wife, for he had married a Cushite. 2 “Has the Lord spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?” And the Lord heard this.

3 (Now Moses was a very humble man, more humble than anyone else on the face of the earth.)

4 At once the Lord said to Moses, Aaron and Miriam, “Come out to the tent of meeting, all three of you.” So the three of them went out. 5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud; he stood at the entrance to the tent and summoned Aaron and Miriam. When the two of them stepped forward, 6 he said, “Listen to my words:

“When there is a prophet among you,
I, the Lord, reveal myself to them in visions,
I speak to them in dreams.

    7 But this is not true of my servant Moses;
he is faithful in all my house.

8 With him I speak face to face,
    clearly and not in riddles;
he sees the form of the Lord.
Why then were you not afraid
to speak against my servant Moses?”

9 The anger of the Lord burned against them, and he left them.

10 When the cloud lifted from above the tent,Miriam’s skin was leprous[a]—it became as white as snow. Aaron turned toward her and saw that she had a defiling skin disease,
