  • The Changing Climate of Movie Messages
    Jul 29 2024
Joe Escalante's weekly plunge into the deadly waters of the business end of showbiz. Joe Escalante's weekly visit to the business end of showbiz... This week: Joe's back in town!! He's still jet lagged from jet-setting across the world, but he's back to talk about Tenacious D's apology for unfortunate comments made at Kyle Gass' birthday show in Australia (too soon, maybe?). Also, the latest from the box office... Joe really did not enjoy "Fly me to the Moon"... after how many frequent flyer miles he's gathered in the last month, I don't think he'd enjoy anything about flying... And Joe and producer Nikki go crazy over their early pick for the Oscar for movie of the year, "Kneecap."

Please, let us all bathe in the glory of the "Hock Tuah" girl getting a manager. She may just be the reincarnation of the Iron Sheik, and I, for one, am all for it.
