Hello! It’s been a while. It’s 2021 Boss Ladies! I’ve been MIA for a minute and with good reason. I decided to take a holiday break to spend with my family and set everything in motion for a new year.

I am going to continue these conversations but it’s going to be on our new YouTube Channel!  I am developing a new interview series for Youtube featuring more ambitious women who are taking the lead to empower themselves and others to live their best lives. I will let you know soon how to subscribe to the Ladies Take the Lead Youtube channel.

Our new podcast relaunching February 2021 is a documentary style series with commentary that explores and celebrates the lives of female trailblazers who have propelled their industries forward and the women who are continuing their legacies. I’m sharing stories about the famous, the overlooked and never heard of badass women who have taken the lead and changed the world.

Chef Ale talks about changing careers mid-life, her arrival to the States from Italy and why it’s important to open the door when opportunity knocks. I had the pleasure of discussing art with Erin Hanson who is a San Diego- based artist, considered to be the originator of the painting style called "Open Impressionism" .  Her landscape paintings have been shown at solo and group exhibitions and museums worldwide.

Even if you’re not in the art business, Erin drops a lot of gems that can and should be practiced in any business.  She also discussed being a mom in business, bringing your kids to work and co-sleeping.

Farrah Chow-Quan, today’s guest on the show is, definitely a Boss Lady. She is the owner and creative designer of Carnival Kicks, a designer shoe brand with festival flair. She based her now 12-year old brand from the love she has for Carnival and shoes.
