• 137: #137 How to Stop Feeling Stuck in Your Business
    Jun 26 2025
If your brain feels foggy, your motivation has vanished, and everything you try leads to overthinking and second-guessing… you’re not broken. You’re just stuck — and it’s totally normal.

In this episode, I’m digging into what being “stuck” really looks like for solo business owners, how it creeps in, and why it has nothing to do with being lazy or lacking strategy. From the pressure to keep up with what “should” work, to the quiet reality that you’ve changed — this is a gentle, honest exploration of why things might not be flowing and how to shift without burning yourself out.

I’m sharing practical mindset shifts, permission to change what’s not working (even if it used to), and how to create the momentum that gets you out of your head and back into movement. You don’t need a full rebrand or a lightning bolt of clarity — just one small step today. That’s where unstuck begins.

✨ You’re not lazy, unmotivated, or failing — you’ve just outgrown something. Let’s make space for what fits now.

  • 136: #136 Burnt Out By Your Business? Here's What To Do
    Jun 19 2025
If you're dragging yourself through your to-do list, doubting all your decisions, or wondering where your spark has gone… it might not be you — it might be burnout. And no, it doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes burnout looks like tweaking your website for the 400th time, staring blankly at your inbox, or feeling completely flat for no obvious reason.

In this episode, I’m talking honestly about burnout as a solo business owner — especially for those of us who are high-functioning, used to “pushing through,” and often the ones everyone else relies on. I share how burnout has shown up in my own life (including during divorce, neurodivergence, and a business that once drained the life out of me), and the steps I’ve taken to move through it without burning everything to the ground.

This is a love letter to brilliant women who are not broken, just exhausted. You’re not failing — you’ve just been carrying too much for too long. Let’s talk about how to take a step back, refocus on what truly matters, and build a business that supports your energy — not one that depletes it.

✨ Burnout doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong. It means it’s time to do it differently.

  • 135: #135 Balancing Supporting Others with Needing Support Yourself
    Jun 12 2025
This week, I’m speaking directly to the women who always seem to have it together — the ones who are calm, capable, and endlessly supportive. You're the go-to for your friends, your family, your clients. You’re the one who says, “My DMs are always open,” and people take you up on that. But when you need support… where do you go?

Being the strong one is exhausting. It's not that people don't care about you — it's that you're just so good at caring for everyone else. And while that’s beautiful, it can also be lonely. I know this because I’ve been that person for years. And even though it might feel like you have to keep up the image of being bulletproof, the truth is you don’t.

In this conversation, I’m opening up about how masking strength all the time took a toll on me — and how softening, being honest, and setting boundaries changed everything. I’m sharing why empathy in business is powerful, how you can still be an incredible support without burning out, and what it means to be the rock without turning to stone.

If you've ever wished there was a “you” for you — someone who just gets it and holds space without needing anything back — then you're in the right place. You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

✨ Being the strong one is admirable. But you’re allowed to be soft, too. You’re allowed to need support. And you’re allowed to build your business in a way that honours your energy.

  • 134: #134 Can You Really Run a Business Without Social Media
    Jun 5 2025
Ever wondered if your business would crumble if you stopped showing up daily on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn? In this episode of Unstuck, I’m sharing the honest truth about what’s happened since I made the decision to step back from social media — and why it’s been one of the most refreshing, grounding shifts I’ve made in years.

After more than a decade of daily posting, I quietly stopped. No dramatic flounce. Just… stopped. And spoiler alert: my business didn’t collapse. Instead, I’ve felt calmer, clearer, and more connected than I have in ages. I’ll take you behind the scenes of how I reassessed my time, what visibility now looks like for me, and the surprising impact it’s had on my mindset, energy, and income. We’ll also talk about why social media isn’t evil (I still love it), how to use it more intentionally, and what genuinely works better for me — like this podcast, email marketing, and meaningful conversations.

✨ You don’t have to be everywhere to be visible. Choose presence over pressure and let your strategy support your sanity.

  • 133: #133 Why You Don't Need a 90-Day Plan to Make Progress
    May 29 2025
Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

We’ve all heard it: make a 90-day plan, set quarterly targets, forecast your growth. But for many solo business owners — especially those who are neurodivergent or juggling midlife chaos — rigid long-term planning can do more harm than good. It can feel overwhelming, demotivating, and like you’re setting yourself up to fail before you’ve even started.

In this episode of Unstuck, I’m flipping the script. I’ll walk you through why traditional planning doesn’t always serve us and what to focus on instead — clarity, consistency, and momentum. You’ll learn why setting goals based on how you want to feel might move the needle more than any spreadsheet ever could, and why small wins and aligned energy are the real secret sauce in business growth.

✨ Progress isn’t always about being productive — it’s about rolling forward in a way that actually works for you.

  • 132: #132 The Real Reason You're Not Showing Up (and What to Do About It)
    May 22 2025
Showing up in your business can feel like a monumental task. Not because you’re lazy or unmotivated, but because it can feel deeply vulnerable to put yourself out there. Whether it’s hitting ‘publish’ on that post, sending an email, or recording a video, it’s normal to feel that tightness in your chest and wonder, “Who even cares?”

In this episode, I’m breaking down what it really means to show up — beyond just dancing on reels or shouting the loudest. I’ll share why visibility doesn’t have to be overwhelming, how to find the right platform that suits your energy, and how to build a sustainable presence that actually feels good. We’ll also dive into why avoiding visibility often comes from fear (not laziness) and how to work with that fear rather than fight it.

✨ Showing up isn’t about being everywhere — it’s about being somewhere with purpose.

Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

We’ll talk about why momentum matters more than productivity, what to focus on instead of goals plucked from Instagram, and how to create a flexible plan that meets you exactly where you are.

  • 130: #130 How to Simplify Your Offers so They Actually Sell
    May 8 2025
Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

If our offers are confusing us, they are definitely confusing my audience. And confused people do not buy. Today, we’re talking about how to simplify your offers so they actually sell. Because, let’s be honest, this is the whole point of being in business, right? It’s not just for the sake of it; we're here because we want to support people, but we also want to make money. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I think the real reason we complicate offers comes down to fear. A lot of it is fear. A lot of it is imposter syndrome. A lot of it is trying to please everyone. And when we try to please everyone, we end up pleasing no one, because how can 10 different problems be solved by one product or service? Sure, there are nuances to every problem we solve, but if they’re completely different things, it gets messy.

Simplifying our offers means more clarity, more focus, and better sales
