  • Summary

  • The guys start off discussing the news that Major League Baseball has begun transitioning the records of the Negro Leagues over to the major league record book. This is a wrong that is finally being righted. Folks are now going to be hearing the name Josh Gibson often as he now is the leader of several records. The guys are not surprised that there are folks who are angry about this, but the question is why are they mad? The show wraps with a discussion about the LA Sparks setting an attendance record of 19,103 fans in Los Angeles to see the Sparks play the Indiana Fever. They were treated to an amazing game, which turned out to be the first win for the Fever's Caitlin Clark. The guys wonder what this year's WNBA draft class will hold up over time.

Believes there are two coverages in sports, real life and social media. In real life, folks are watching the WNBA product, enjoying the WNBA product, and can't wait to consume more. On social media, there are angry people, people knocking everything about the WNBA, people who don't know the league & people who just don't know what they are talking about. There is just too much negativity. The WNBA is doing a great job for those who are watching and attending the games. Social media is great at times, but you have to be very careful with what you are seeing on social media. It's great that the league is doing well, and everything is going up. The discussion also includes MLB incorporating the Negro League stats into the official record books, the evolution of Kyrie Irving, and the differences between the coverage of Harrison Butker's comments & Colin Kaepernick's silent protest.
