Ordforklaring:

FMT = fekal mikrobiotatransplantasjon. S.aureus = gule stafylokker (bakterie). Bakteriemi = bakterier i blodbanen. Sputum/ekspektorat = slim fra nedre luftveier. Nasofarynx = området mellom svelg og nese (øvre luftveier) der mange luftveisprøver tas fra. PCR = polymerase chain reaction, analysemetode.
