  • Summary

  • Your life story is probably the most powerful thing that has shaped you. No one has experienced your set of unique experiences and I want you to learn how to share them with impact. With powerful body language and a strong magnetic presence, you can step into the spotlight while staying true to your most authentic self. Hi, my name is Dr. Keri Yang and I’m so excited you’ve found the Pretty Powerful Woman Podcast. I help entrepreneurs and professionals speak in their signature style and tell their unique stories. I teach my clients how to leverage the power of their personal presence, speak with style, and use captivating stories to build an instant connection with their audience. Through my travels around the globe speaking, I’ve had the honor to hear extraordinary stories from people just like you and me. These stories show us how much alike we actually are as human beings and how much we can support and learn from each other. I built my business with one idea: to help people use speaking to change the trajectory of their lives. Because when you have a powerful story and a solution that can help someone, you deserve a stage and an opportunity. But ultimately, you have to be the one to create that stage when opportunity knocks. I’m so glad you’re here to listen to some of the most compelling stories shared with me and in the process learn how to tell your own amazing and unforgettable story. Ready to learn more? Mar 30 2022

In celebration of World Autism Awareness Day (April 2) and kicking off April as Autism awareness month, I’m joined by two amazing guests in this episode of the Pretty Powerful Woman podcast. Erin Baute, based in US, as the mother of a beautiful and neurodivergent daughter; and Slava Gayko, based in Germany, who uncovered her own autistic journey along with her brilliant son, Vincent, with autism.

Today’s stories are about autism, and also about the mothers’ love. I hope their stories from different sides of the world can bring together a new perspective for you when it comes to autism and neurodivergent, or make you feel less alone.

  • Standing Strong after Afghanistan
    Mar 30 2022

In this episode of the Pretty Powerful Woman Podcast, I’m honored to share the powerful story of Fatima Haidari with you. This interview took place shortly after she was forced to flee the country when the Taliban took control of Afghanistan in 2021.

Growing up in the Taliban era when her mother had to pretend there wasn’t even a baby girl born in their home, Fatima shared her inspiring journey from shepherd girl to Afghanistan’s first female tour guide with us in this episode. She also detailed her experience of escaping from Taliban and how she is now going forward as a changer, not a victim.

I hope Fatima’s story inspire you to believe in the power of your own dreams. This is how we connect with each other. Sharing these important moments, no matter how difficult, creates connections between people all over the world. If you’re ready to share your story I would love to chat with you.
