"What happened in the past is what happened in the past. All we can do is use the present well and plan for the future."

This was a short and sweet, and I enjoyed listening. Many of the general ideas and underlying theories are not new to the podcast, but examining them through the lens of these additional concepts and authors prevented it from feeling reiterative. As always Stuart keeps the conversation engaging by peppering in his own insights and anecdotes. Another thought-provoking episode 👏

‘Our well-being is in our control’

Another excellent episode! Stuart emphasized the importance of breaking the stigma around mental health care, and presented the concept of reality therapy and choice theory by Dr. William Glasser. By sharing his personal experiences and asking inspiring questions Stuart encouraged us to implement these teachings in our own lives, and reminded us that we can ‘actively shape our destinies rather than just being passive spectators in our own lives.’ This episode was not only highly informative but also extremely inspiring and empowering. Thank you, Stuart!
