• 17. Should Hair Stylists pick a niche or specialty?
    Jul 29 2024

Is "niching down" the new buzz term in the beauty industry? In this episode I'm chatting about how hairstylists have taken specializing too far. Learn more about my personal experience with exploring different specialties and understand the importance of not limiting your skill set too early in your career. If you've ever been told that you have to specialize in order to be successful, I want to challenge that mindset in favor of supporting more well rounded stylists in the beauty industry. Although there is value in picking a niche in marketing, I encourage you to find balance between doing the services you enjoy without having to sacrifice variety, creativity, and exploration in your career.
