West Virginia is known for many things: being the only state completely within the Appalachian Mountain range, one of the most photographed venues with Blackwater Falls, and was the birthplace of the wondrous McElroy brothers. More than 50 years ago, a man from Manitoba had an out-of-this-world experience in the woods near Falcon Lake in Whiteshell Provincial Park.
