At 16 years old you're told that you most likely won’t be able to have children. Then by 18 you’re married to your high school sweetheart, and by 19 you’re pregnant with your first child, and soon facing postpartum depression head on-what a huge change in a matter of a few years. Listen in on Allie’s story as she shares with us how God met her through that depression, and put people in her path to help her along the way. Her relationship with Him grew as she went on to have a second child, and then adopt a third. Going into your first pregnancy, you make a plan, you have a vision, you have a prayer…but then what do you do when it all comes crashing down? At 34 weeks pregnant, Rebekkah’s world changed forever. She went from having a routine ultrasound appointment to having a C-section in less than 12 hours, as her life depended on it. What came afterward was an extended NICU stay for her son, during part of which she was restricted from seeing him, and later on, some undiagnosed delays he was experiencing. Once she had some time and space to reflect on everything, she realized she had indeed been through quite a traumatic experience, and has since had to take it all to the Lord, day by day and moment by moment.
