  • Episode 35 - An Efficient Household
    Nov 2 2023

On this episode of The Balance we dive into how we (want to) run an efficient household by having all hands on deck!

We’ve talked about how we leverage some paid household services but that doesn’t take away from the day to day tasks that need to be done to keep a household of 4, 5 or 6 running smoothly.

In order to maximize our down time at home to have quality family time we need to figure out how to share the housework load. Not only is it good for our family - it’s good for our children to learn responsibility and teach them accountability for taking care of their things.

We definitely don’t have this one figured out- so join us as we talk through our plans and let us know what works best for you and your family!

Today we are sharing what those three things are and some ways to implement our practices into your life if you resonate with our experience.

Grab your coffee and listen in as we talk about people pleasing, self doubt and mom guilt. As a collective, we feel so much happier and energized, because we aren’t giving these things space in our lives. It’s making us better moms, and better business owners. More importantly, it supports us on our mission to continuing finding…The Balance. • Episode 32 - What Would You Do With More Time
    Oct 12 2023

In this episode of The Balance, we dive into the topic of time and how it would look to gain extra time in our days. Turns out that when tasked with contemplating how much extra time you want (or think you need), the vast majority of us struggle to quantify the perfect amount. Is it that we need more time or that we’re not being intentional in creating actionable plans by prioritizing properly? We map out how that looks for each of our businesses and responsibilities within our families and discuss how we reset and recharge when we feel we’re not using our time purposefully throughout various seasons of life. Grab your coffee and follow along as we navigate whether it’s really more time we need or more intentional use of that time. When time is of the essence, how do you juggle all your balls in an effort to find...The Balance.

  • Episode 30 - When Life Happens
    Sep 28 2023

In this episode of The Balance we welcome Emily back with a special guest appearance from our sweetest new addition, baby Banks. We dive into how the last few weeks have looked for her as she navigates juggling a newborn with the busy schedules of her other 3 kiddos, not to mention how she finds time to maintain business amidst this new pace of life. Bree shares how she’s stayed grounded and faced some of life’s uncontrollable curve balls head on over the last several days and Jen vulnerably shares that some days the weight of juggling all the balls seems too much for any person to handle. We discuss how we pivot when the weight grows heavy.

We also share an exciting, long awaited launch here in Orlando with the opening of Brightline. A high speed rail service that runs between Orlando and South Florida with multiple stops in between, it has huge potential for changing the landscape of commuter and leisure travel between some of Florida’s most popular cities. Tune in to find out whether we think this would be a viable option for us when traveling down South.
