The way I managed to get this episode out before July is crazy to me.

But when I say I will do three episodes a month, I do my darndest to make that happen.

And also I really wanted to talk with my friend Aiden after literal AGES.

What better way to catch up than to talk about the highly politicized topic of LGBTQ+ identity on the day of the first presidential debate of the 2024 election?

Anyway, feel free to share YOUR story of living and growing as an adult in a post-pandemic would by emailing or DMing me on instagram.

Til next time, go live life lavish <3

    Jun 19 2024

America loves freedom, but this country was not really free until June 19th, 1865 when the last slave was emancipated in the south.

Juneteenth only became a national holiday in 2021... a year after the resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020.

Truly 2020 was a fever dream on SO many levels.

My friend M'Kayla talks about what 2020 was like for her as well as a what Juneteenth means to her.

It's graduation season! Shireen and I are in varying degrees of anxiety. You know who else is lost in the void of impending adulthood? Benjamin Braddock in Mike Nichols' CLASSIC film The Graduate.

Shireen and I get into it and the sound of silence in this episode is filled with my computer overheating... sorry, that's on me :(
