For the Corinthians, following Jesus was all in their heads: a sophisticated set of ideas, a fashionable new way of thinking, a sense of spirituality. But while the Gospel was in their heads, following Jesus never made it to their hands and feet -- an actual change in the way they did life. When we choose to follow Jesus, it should upturn our whole lives top to bottom. We can’t merely intellectually assent to Jesus; instead, following his way means radically changing the way we practically live.
