    In this episode, I interview A. Garcia, the founder of “Be Your Incredible Self” and her Nonprofit - “Confronting Domestic Violence” an organization dedicated to providing support and resources for survivors of spousal abuse. 

    Garcia shares her personal story of overcoming abuse in her own marriage and the inspiration behind starting her organization.

    We discuss the devastating effects of spousal abuse on individuals, families, and communities, including physical and emotional trauma, financial insecurity, and barriers to leaving abusive relationships. Garcia also highlights the importance of understanding the dynamics of power and control in abusive relationships, and the role of societal attitudes and stereotypes in perpetuating abuse.
