    Helen Mets is an international business leader with over 30 years’ experience. Before becoming the CEO of Ahlstrom, she held a range of senior executive leadership roles at Avery Dennison, the family company Pon, and at Royal DSM. Helen has a masters degree from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle and an Executive MBA from CEDEP, Fontainebleau in Paris. She is also a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Leadership Program.

    Dianne is Managing Partner of Synergised Solutions, Non-Exec Director of Spktral, Director of Equilibrium Mediation Consulting and Founder of #EthnicityPayGap Campaign.

    Dianne established the #EthnicityPayGap Campaign in 2018. She was motivated to work to make a difference and address the inequalities that have been in existence in the workplace for many years. She produced research on the Impact of Ethnicity Pay Gap on Black Women in 2022 and was involved with the research conducted by Fawcett Society, Ethnicity Motherhood Pay Penalty report 2023 and their Broken Ladders report 2022.

    Dianne's movement is phenomenal, and this episode is one to listen to if you don't know what the Ethnicity Pay Gap is and want to learn more.

    Leon Burns, is the President and CEO of Open Technology Group (OTG), and leads the delivery of innovative IT services to US Federal Government clients, ensuring secure, efficient operations through reliable technology solutions and value-added services. Leon's strategic use of data migration early in his career left an enduring impact. This innovation facilitated the creation of automated data platforms, revolutionising project tracking and forecasting IT infrastructure deficiencies for government projects. Notably, Leon's pioneering methodology extended to constructing data modules for customer intelligence analytics, enhancing personnel retention, and bolstering OTG's bottom line. Beyond the boardroom, Leon actively breaks down social barriers, sponsoring 11 STEM programs for marginalised youth and created a $100K scholarship for his alma mater, Hampton University titled “DEIB in Black Tech”. The scholarship is for Business majors that minored in Management Information Systems encouraging students to pursue careers in business analytics. A devoted community member, Leon co-chairs an annual Lung Cancer Run in memory of his father Leon Burns Jr., raising over $173K to date. His multimedia efforts, including a YouTube series, Black Mental Health Matters, demonstrates his commitment to reducing stigmas in mental health. Leon Burns is not just a corporate leader; he is a force advancing corporate success in sound business principles and a profound commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Having left a computing science degree early to pursue his dreams, Anthony served for 25 years as a navigator and then a Fighter Pilot in the Royal Air Force. In his spare time, when not upside down, he developed software tools for the RAF, one of which won him an award.
