We continue to unpack more examples of critical race theory and social justice as applied in a practical sense in the church. In this episode, we see these ideals applied in the context of churches, seminaries, and culture in a broader sense. Is it a good idea to insist on a cultural represnetation in literary con tributions? Is it biblical to assume that all white people are racist, simply based on skin color? Is it accurate to say that the racism is more dangerous today than in the civil rights era in the 1960's? We take on these questions and more in this episode.

If a Christian is incapable of walking in unity in the contaxt of worship, you can be assured it will manifest itself in his or her life in general. Revelation 5 gives us one of the most brilliant pictures of Christ-centered unity in all of the scriptures.

Join us as we behold the beauty and majesty of the one who was able to open the scroll. “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!” (Rev. 5:13) 

In this episode, we turn our attention to what Jesus Christ has done to break down the wall of hostility between Jew and Gentile, by his blood, becoming our peace. Although many in Christiandom seem to minimize this reality, by describing it as "merely" a theological distinction, the passage itself shows that orthodoxy and orthopraxy cannot be separated from one another. One cannot have peace with Christ without peace with your brother, regardless of their ethnic background.

In this episode, we continue to look at alternatives to help shape how we draw conclusions regarding justice. In Psalm 73, we find some helpful precepts in terms of living in an unjust society. We also find some sharp contrasts in how Asaph wrestles with injustice in his day vs. the attempts in our current culture to make just about anything a 'justice issue'.
