In the past month, Tommy Billington, Frankie Kazarian, D-Lo Brown, Harlon Abbott, Trent Seven, and Jody Threat have all popped up in Winnipeg. And there will be more to come. For fans, it’s a perfect time to show up, cheer loud, support and get full appreciation for their dedication to local independent wrestling.

If you were at Wrestling United’s Summer Splash on Thursday night, you saw a pretty good show from a company that has only had 2 shows so far. Over 350 fans were in attendance and left happy. This week Mike Davidson & “The Mecca” Shane Madison go over everything that went into the event and led to success.

The breakdown of matches and talk about all the personnel in an expression of appreciation. You will get a full wrap up of the event with comprehensive coverage.

It was the first of 3 shows in Winnipeg in the span of 9 days, CWE held their Cruel Summer event featuring the first in ring match of D-Lo Brown in two years.

And this coming Friday Winnipeg Pro Wrestling returns with “I Know Who You Pinned Last Summer”, at the Blue Note Park. That show is sold out.

“The God of Thunder” Andy Anderson joins the show and talks about how he started at Chalmers Community Club in 1996 and by his 12 match was wrestling at Channel 5 studios in Memphis for Jerry Lawler’s USWA. He took on Brian Christopher. No mailbag this week but an all around great show.
